[Il-2 Great Battles] COMBAT BOX ONLINE - Frustrating Realities

Being a middle aged guy with a family, job, and too many hobby commitments, I don't get to play as often as I would like, especially online. This particular Saturday morning was a great example: I have a couple hours in the house to myself before Things Need To Be Done, so I figure I'll hop on CB, do a sortie or two real quick.
How have your experiences Post-Normandy been? Am I just getting some confirmation bias here, or has the HeadShot SuperSniper ratio gone up recently? Not counting my slightly bizarre P38 SuperTanker video, this is how most of my missions go: Headshot after Headshot. I know they tweaked pilot and gunner vulnerability, along with making the Gunners (at least in the 410) and AAA Guns more accurate. But, this seems...well. Frustrating.

It comes and goes! There are times I can fly around and get a lot 'done' and not even take a hit. Then there are times I am lucky to get airborne with campers over the airbase, or campers over the front line, or Magical Sniper AAA, etc. Apollo is back on line right now, and I have new HOTAS gear to map and try out, so we'll see how the next few sorties go for me! @Kamicosmos thanks. I've had the game for awhile but have mostly done single player. Just starting with multiplayer really and really like it, but the whole "older with family and responsibilities" thing really cuts into playing time so it feels hard to progress.

I hear ya! I also have limited time, especially during the week with kiddo's scouts and karate, and my own other hobbies. It can be very frustrating to sit down, knowing you only have an hour or two and yeah, you get shot down repeatedly, or the servers are laggy, or windows decides to be windows and ... there went your hour!
