This answered alot of questions I had about the de-ice pad and procedures in clearing runway and taxiwys. We don't get it like that here in DFW, DAL TEXAS area too often. Outstanding video eye trapper, I cant believe how many deice machines work on one airplane, I think AC 304 had 7 deice trucks (maybe even 8). I remember years ago someone from WestJet told me that depending on the amount of pax on board, if they need to get deiced sometimes they make nothing on the flight due to the high cost of deicing, and that was years ago, imagine the cost today for AC 304. I just googled it and this is what came up. De-icing larger. aircraft can cost over $10,000.
Nice video. Do the de icing crews work only in minus celciius weather and what do those workers do when it's warm again? Plow crews seemed on it very cool. On flight radar you could see blips from plow etc but this is great
Haha. I am back from Bangkok and on my way home as i entered our Qatar 773 i saw Air Canada"s 787-9 in the old livery on the B satellite at Survhanabumi airport. 15:00 hours ahead on their way home to Vancouver......
It depends on how much contamination is on the aircraft. The trucks carry around 4000 (water), 2000 (de-icing), and 2000 (anti-icing). On a Speedbird T7 a few trucks started spraying with full tanks and emptied twice until the plane was clean. In this video, some trucks were able to do 5 or so aircraft until refilling.

Thank you! Airlines like Westjet, Air Canada and many others pay a set amount at the beginning of the year. Only ad hoc's pay before deicing.
