The link to the spacers you posted has them listed at a 78.1 center bore so that explains the reason you had to grind off that bit. If you had grabbed some adapters with the 78.3 CB you shouldnt have had any issue mounting them and thenyou could have used some 78.3 to 67.1 hubcentric rings and been ready to roll. I personally love the look and love that you made the video just tossing out some info to hopefully save some time and money since that link has those adapters at over $220 currently.
If I remember right I had to grind it down so it wouldn’t hit the inside of the wheel. The spacers went on fine, maybe the link changed to another one since I posted it? Not too sure. Hub rings would definitely make it ride smoother!
Take a hot glue gun to the back of the caps, they will hold and are easy to take off when balancing your wheels. Truck looks great man, my fave chevy body by far.
I believe u bro .. this crap 💩 is a pain in the butt.. I just bought a 1993 obs step-side just like urs.. n it came with the same wheels n adapters the guy i got it from did it .. but now I’m trying to do this same wheels on a 1981 z-28 camaro but don’t even know where to start..lol lmk if u would know what type of adapter I should buy thxz 👍👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘💪💪😎😎
Im struggling finding a socket to get into the spacer... So I went over and found some thin wall sockets and it's still to thick to help out, anyone got a solution
Wouldn’t 2inch spacers fix your problem with the dust cap hitting. I have 2inch spacers on my 1998 s10 and thinking about doing the same to my 1992 Obs
@@yzzo_ozzy yooo Ozzy I was wondering if theirs where a way that I could have your rallies I really like those rims and maybe a we can have a negotiate for the wheels
I’ve hauled maybe 200lbs of stuff in the bed since this video. I felt comfortable doing that and driving 70mph+ I cant say for sure on how it would be when towing. You should be fine just make sure to torque your spacers consistently.

Didn’t think about that! I ended up getting rid of the set overall. And went back to Rally wheel’s.
What’s the bolt pattern for those wheels adapters as I’m doing the exact same thing?
Cheers !!!

I have no idea honestly, But goodluck on that build!
Ok so do these tuck in the rear and front? I'm wanting to do something similar but mine is a bit lower then yours
They can tuck yes
Couldn't you grind the rims instead of the hub?
You could but I really didn't wanna mess with the structure of the actual wheel.
I put super glue on my center cap to keep it from falling off. Still holding up after years
I would’ve done that too but i sold them already. Went back to rallys stay tuned 🫣

Thats odd. I used a thin wall and it worked fine for mine. Did you use the spacers that were linked?

They would, i just didn’t feel comfortable having that thick of a spacer to run on this truck.
Like vibrations or damaging a stud in some way.
@yzzo_ozzy the extra half inch of spacer would be safer than grinding the hub compared to properly machining it.
Rally wheels look better on there imo
Just picked up a set of baby billets and rallies.
Can’t decide if i should go back to rallies or try another set of billets.
I do miss the Rallie wheel look!
@@yzzo_ozzy I have some 15x10 eagle alloys on my 94 and love them.

@@yoboiitito620 They actually sold before this video went up. Sorry man.
Mine is lower do you think they will rub
What drop do you have?
Where did u get the adapters from
Checkout the description! I posted a link to the exact ones.
I'm planning to do the same on my 95 extended cab. Is it safe to tow or put some load on the truck when running spacers?

I cant say for sure on how it would be when towing.

Wat yr r the Camaro rims from look awesome
I believe a 2010 Camaro SS.
Definitely could use a bit bigger tire with some meat I wouldn't lower more then one inch. Looks good though really like 5 spoke wheels.
i have the same truck (color even) and just got the exact same wheels… 😂😂😂
They’re clean!😤
Does it pop out a lot ??
The wheels overall didnt pop out too much. Was about flush with the fender/bed
