Always appreciate the videos as someone who was scared to do bosses for a while. They just seemed very daunting and stressful. Hoping to do my first barrows run soon.
I just wanted to say you're an amazing human being! Your personality is so contagious, and you seem to truly have a very kind heart. I wish you nothing but the best in life.
Well, you certainly do that! I appreciate how humble you are and take nothing for granted and are always giving back to the community with helpful videos. 😊
Fantastic video to round up everything that you need to move from mid-game to end-game content! It's helpful to hear it from somebody, even tho you know it already.
This is honestly the best guide/tip/trick type video I've ever seen. Touched on all the most important aspects of combat in a very clear and concise way. As a long time pker new to pvm, I think it's noteworthy that this video is totally applicable to pking as well. Great job man, glad I got this video recommended, I'm subbing.
It's always interesting to hear and talk about what you ACTUALLY need to do stuff in this game. Pretty much everyone tells me rn I "Need" a Fang to pvm melee, and while it would definitely make things easier and unlock harder and more profitable content, getting the down payment for a fang isn't as easy for a more casual/midcore player as all these hardcore content creators and market flippers would have you believe, especially when you're spending like 9m every two weeks to upkeep membership w/ bonds. I'm getting close though!
ya GP is always the hard part in it, I'm really looking for a good way for casual players to build GP but nothing is really competitive with raids/high level PVM, but I think as long as your enjoying the game regardless of what you're doing you're in a good place!
one other tip for dying, if it's first time doing a boss fight, you can go in with cheap gear that is suitable (b d'hide/proselyte) and light supplies to scout out a boss and get a feel for it before you full gear up to go for kills.
Should probably note somewhere that in RuneLite you can move somewhere (even under someone) by shift clicking. Can also walk places by control clicking. I thought for the longest time people were just way better than me at right clicking quickly.
I think a good starter "boss" is demonic gorillas. I'm new-ish to PvM and could handle these way before anything like Gauntlet, Cerberus, or even Jad (I still haven't done these in the main game, but have been practicing in Leagues). It just helps having an enemy that won't completely ONE SHOT YOU just because you missed a single prayer switch for one attack/tick. You still take big damage off prayer, but you have a "wait why did I just take a 30... oh yeah" moment and can quickly eat while switching, instead of just insta-death.
@@satrontr1379 I disagree solely because of the damn ghosts. You have to tick flick all three perfectly in a row, or you basically die. I honestly could only kill Cerb in Leagues due to out DPSing and killing her before they came.
I relate painfully to that Vard intro man. Trying to finish DT2 as my last quest until my quest cape for Lumby and Draynor elite and im not even kidding when I say I pulled the same stunt yesterday and died when he was on 2 hp 😭
I played runescape 2 before construction came out and dieing and losing my gear and gold as a kid on dial up internet was very frustrating. Now as an adult I'm very anxious doing anything that might chance my gear I've spent hours skilling and grinding to buy.
One of my last deaths was killing Gargoyles with Guthans. Disconnected. This was before slayer let you spend point to auto smash gargoyles. Guthans couldn't drain gargoyles at 1HP effectively. RS in the early 2000s was wild.
Surprised you didn't mention Sarachnis and Grotesque Guardians, which offer a lot in terms of learning PvM mechanics. Also set reasonable goals and don't expect to succeed first try, but look at what you learned after each time. When I needed to do ToB (entry mode) for the quest I noticed I got further each time and focusing on that learning curve motivated me to keep trying.
Some really good shouts, I think I want to do another video like this but its more so focused on bosses like sarachnis/guardians as almost like a "bossing ladder" and what skills you can pick up from each encounter in a more linear progression style
Did my first regular gauntlet kc with 97cb level.Levels are not everything don’t think just bc you are lower level you can’t do something it just won’t be as easy/efficient as someone who has higher levels
Everything is doable at every level for sure, combat levels just make stuff progressively easier as you level up! The hard part is normally learning encounters
ping works in milliseconds so 100 ping would be 0.1 seconds > the success rate they are being sent/recievved at is more imporant than than gaining that 0.1 second, general advice is picking low population worlds and you'll notice its much more consistent
basically god d'hide is armadyl so you can use god d'hide and skip armadyl completely beacuse arma is more luxury just like pegasian boots. they dont increase anything so the minimal difference between god d'hide boots/armo, pegasians and armadyl armor is ignorable
@@NoLeather reason why armadyl is so useless cuz its rs2 time armor so its super old and need of buff Pegs/arma are luxury and only useful for ironmen cuz they need armadyl to fortify masori

Nice job. Having connection problems and tick tracker is a godsend. Thanks.

Not a new player but clicked out of interest, really detailed and well edited. Excited to see your channel grow!

This gives a great idea on where to start with PvM and how to break that wall 😁
The hardest part is starting, you got it 🤝
As a player from the hlc i didnt know about the ping plugin thing. Thanks for this amazing tip
Just check the max hit of the monster..alright lets see.jad... oh. Well then, I'm in danger lol.

PVM? I dont need this video, I've killed goblins in Lumbridge before
Very based
How did you do that? I always get clapped out before a single kill.
@@drakemaris65 it's all about focus and training. I'm sure one day you'll be able to kill one 👍
You can always start with chickens. Once you’ve got the tick eating down, you could try goblins again.
Try the varrock goblins 💁♂️
That hydra “i hate you” was soooo funny lol

really good shout, picking up the mechanics of the boss is so important, its better to understand it and get that muscle memory first!
@@NoLeather yep, it's the method I used to learn vanstrom klause
I didn’t know any of this. Great video!

Here is a tip from me. “Do the mechanic and don’t panic.”
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Gl on your PVM grinds ✌️

Cerb is easier than demonic gorillas literally G. Mole with a few Mechanics

@@NoLeather Cool! Maybe it's also because I absolutely love doing GGs, I'm always excited to get a gargoyle task.
My issue with learning some bosses is the 500k death fees i def think the dt2 bosses should be 100k deaths like zul ect.
hard agree, learning would be much less daunting for a lot of people if there wasn't a death fee for the first 25-50 KC
One point real quick, range level does not impact range defense. (You said that range and mage increase their respective style’s defenses)
had me hooked when he said "he's he but not him" i felt that 😆
😂🤝
Demonic gorillas are great for learning gear/prayer swaps too.
really good shout, and a good way to make some great gp while learning
me getting ready for my first muspah trip and see this video, nice
You got it, gl with the grind!
What's that plugin called? True tile? I can't find it when I search the plugin hub.
its in the Tile Indicators plugin > bottom option when you open the settings

wouldnt being in a world with over 100 ping mean ur clicks wouldn't register for a full second after you click causing missed ticks?

this is actually huge for so many things, really should of been included in the video. Very very good shout on this

Now make a guide on how to make friends to do raids 😅
