I always do tele-alch-bones-enchant. Very much agree with what you said about starting with the slow ones. Once you slog through those, graveyard doesn't feel very long. Enchant always feels super fast, especially if you do it last.
Niche thing, but for Ironmen with a mud staff or a tome of water, the enchanters room is free / net positive mage training with dragonstone enchant or better. You can buy cosmic runes from the reward shop for 5 enchant points each, and you get more than that with each enchant. Click intensive, but going full sweat you can get over 100k xp/hr with enchant dragonstone.
I think the only change id like for the maze is to let the combo go higher than what is it? 5? iirc Bones room as a main I just brought like half an inv of food with me cause I’d get too mad eating so many bananas lol gem room is good and alch room isn’t awful it’s just slow
Telly grab room is by far the worst, even with runelite. In graveyard I just take trips, bring 4 high heal fish and 4 karabwans per trip. Get around 40-50 points per trip.
The FELLLLAAA is back and better than ever MTA has sure been a hot topic because of leagues, and it's great to see you upload. Always a treat to see your videos pop up. Also what staff is that? I love it.
Meanwhile, the Telegrab room sucked the soul out of my body lol. It's just so slow, and not even watching a movie on my second monitor can help to deal with the tedium and boredom
with 8x multiplier, and the bankers note trick on bananas, it took me like 6.5 hours to finish this in leagues, and i could do most of it while watching youtube. that is 800 points AND infinity set which im still using as I dont have full virtus set. win-win
I didn't mind grinding out MTA when i was getting bones to peaches, as well as some progress on my wands and mage boots. Only reason i left it for now is because i switched to grinding out monkey backpacks. I treat this kind of content same as Pest Control - i just do do it every day before going to bed. It's a low intensity snoozefest of a content that is perfect to put you to bed. And it works like a charm.
I didn't realize infinity robes are worse than ahrims. Not sure why someone would grind it out but with the recent reddit drama this shit does not need to change at all. The grind wasn't amazingly fun but is something I'll remember doing on the way to elite Lum diary
perfect for uim cause you can store them unlike ahrims. You have better things to do if you literally play any other modes including Ironman, HCIM, Main etc.
The main reason people get the robes is just to flex. Also, they dont degrade, which is nice. Whenever I see an iron in infinity robes, I know Im dealing with a legit psychopath.
The thing I can’t stand about the tele-grab room is that I can’t move until the animation is done. In the other rooms, even though it was slow, it felt like I was always doing something, in the telegrab room, I knew it could be sped up if the statue and projectile moved faster and I wasn’t forced to wait around doing absolutely nothing until the game would finally let me do something.
@@jeanbob1481 Sorry, to be clear I meant the tele-grab animation. You can move while the statue is moving but there's plenty of times where you just need to move to the adjacent tile to set the next one up or there's a long run you'd otherwise make but you're rooted in place waiting for the tele-grab animation to end and for the statue to start moving. I wish that both the tele-grab animation was faster and that the speed of the statue would always be fast enough that it arrives at where it should be exactly when the player gets to the next solve point. I just want there to be zero down-time if its solved perfectly.
ah well believe it or not but when this came out you could not move AT ALL until the statue arrived at destination. Good for run energy but even slower then what we know right now. Of notes also is that enchant used to be just like alchemy, auto enchant and even auto chiseling did not exist a couple years ago you had to manually click EVERYTHING. Faster but super annoying.@@DeansDiscourse
@@jeanbob1481 That sounds miserable, I've only been playing for the last two years, so I'm glad I missed out on all that lol. Did the tele-grab room second last recently when I was finishing up my lumby elite diary and it felt the most miserable because I could never get into a rhythm with it. That's always something that fascinates be about this game, I read the change log on the wiki of some pages and can't believe how the game didn't have these small tweaks until the last 5 or so years.
I think they spoke about removing the delay from telegrab which would be so nice, or making it much shorter. I think it got voted down cause it was a randomly a GM combat achievement reward for some reason? Maybe we'll see it in QOL poll soon enough!
if you right click the spellbook icon you can enable spellbook filtering, and once thats on theres a little button at the bottom of the spell book to set your filters up, mine just hides spells I don't have the runes to cast, you can also do this in the prayer tab too :)
For me Mage Training Arena is one of the most tedious content in the game. Every second i spent there was painful and after getting the bones to peaches for the diary I wouldn't spend 1 millisecond more there.
Its a good thing bloodbark armour got buffed for us Irons... So we don't need to grind for that Infinity Armor. But hey its really nice for iron fashion scape. LMAO even though my main mage armour is now Void...
I just kinda don’t like the idea of forcing you to go into a pvp area to complete a quest… like I don’t have an issue with having pvp areas, but I don’t like that they make you go there for a quest. I’d like to be able to use my best gear without fear of losing it, but I’m also a filthy casual and suck at PvP as it is, and also currently have shitty internet connection. I want my imbued god capes, but don’t want to lose my shit. How hard could it be to open just a couple worlds that are safe wildy worlds for filthy casuals like myself?
its just a little bit more focused gameplay, I always forget how many mobile players there are... but the difference would be: Enchant - Stays the same, just have to spot dragonstones when they spawn Telegrab - Solve mazes manually, there's only 10 so you hopefully you get muscle memory eventually will just take some time, there's also reference images on the wiki to help with learning Graveyard - Very similar, just spam click bones until you have a bunch, or count the values of them till you have 16+ Alch - Probably the biggest difference, can either use the images I showed in this video (also on the wiki) and try to learn the rotations/locations or I think the better option is to try and use a world with people in the alch room and just follow them to the cupboards as they most likely have the plugin Runelite is just so powerful that it makes everything easier, but mobile is possible! Best of luck on the grind!
MTA gets a bad rep. It's a bit boring and slow, and makes your hand hurt if you do it too much, but it has some good rewards for ironman and even though the alch room is miserable it's actually pretty good exp. Plus because it's so disliked you can even get some good money from it if you enjoy it, getting stuff like mage books and the infinity boots (currently on the rise because of Eternal Boots speculation). I also appreciate that it's a low-intensity solo activity that's not RNG at all for its rewards. I have notoriously terrible boss luck, and on top of that I REALLY struggle keeping at full focus grinds for more than an hour or two, so having something chill I can put on my phone and lay down in bed for while making progress towards BiS or diary is great.
I recall doing this on my iron man a few years ago, I did hp cape, regen bracelet and rapid heal prayer. You can last very long in there. (Edit) oh it was covered in the video.
Is this just a guide for MTA? I need to do it on my account im level 118 only 5 quests left before quest cape 91 slayer but never stepped foot in the MTA lol. It honestly doesn't look that bad to me looks kind of fun. I want to do it just for the collection log. I remember when the mage training area first came out way back when you know in 06 or 07 whenever it was and I was super excited for it. I thought we were getting like a mini-hogwarts in gilenor and we'd get some awesome new activities and maybe even like a harry potter style quest?!?!? I don't have mems right now and I wanted to get it again but then I saw bonds are 10 mil!!!!!! I like 50m cash stack but idk I just cant bring myself to spend 10m for 2 weeks of game time. Oh well I'll keep playing my huge collection emulated games for every console ever made before the ps2/xbox era (except nintendo consoles I can actually run even switch emulators on my awful 2014 thinkpad somehow but ps2/xbox is impossible). I'll come back to runescape soon but in the mean time thanks for the content! I love this game so much its so awesome truly one of the greatest creations of the 21st century.
best game ever made 🤝 you could consider it a "guide" but with my content I try to show the more casual methods over the optimal way to get things done

Hope this isn't weird but I really like the vibe of your intros. It's like everyone's favorite teacher trying to fire up the class.
dad's back with the camels :) jeez that line sure was long haha
They were sold out... had to check a few different stores
I can't believe you find the teleportation room less annoying than the alchemy room.
