Never considered or saw a viper before the other day. Though it looks okay on video, I was thoroughly impressed with how it looked an sounded in person.
Thats the thing :-) Same with me when i bought my SRT10 (Gen3) It exceeded my feelings and thoughts seeing it in the flesh. Amazing car.
I love her pasion for cars
Emme Hall - this car is absolutely awesome and I am glad you got to review it. As usual, thanks for the informative and entertaining review.
Your thanking of the baby Jesus was particularly humorous.
Wow! You just get more gorgeous as years go by. Great review as always!
@Bence316 dodge/chrysler still owns this car and it's production. .. They are just labeling it SRT... However Chrysler has announced they will produce 129 units of the 2014 SRT viper TA... and the TA beats the shut out of the ZR1 before anyone starts talking dumb shyt..
Best. Car. Ever!!
So good SRT have had to put a hold on production because of lack of demand which is because the new Viper is.......shit!
Shane Earley why hate? you love whatever you love...let him love what ever he wants to.........and i'd be willing to bet you'd drive one if someone offered
John Burns Thank you. Always gotta be a hater... besides that part isnt true anyway!
Albert, ignore the dumb comment by Shane (smacks of jealousy most likely, as well as no understanding of Vipers) Vipers (particularly the SRT10 range (Gen 3,4&5s) drive extremely well. Handle well. Build quality and finishes far better. I have a Gen3 SRT10 and it is a unique car. Thats the thing, Vipers are very unique. Viper owners you will find are proud and recognise that fact. They do not claim Vipers are better than this n that blah blah. Are respectful of other super cars but know Vipers are simply pure, raw and sheer fun. Incredible torque makes them so much fun. I only respect Viper haters that have owned one. Thats the thing, haters have very very rarely driven one let alone owned one.
Best Roadfly review so far. Great job!
Its been 8 years and we miss you Emme matter of fact! :)
Saw her at Toronto airport today, she doesn't look too friendly.
Emme, I can watch and listen to her all day.
She's hot, funny and nice to look at.
She 's one of the most entertaining auto reporters out there.
It's not all about the cars you know, It's the image that she creates with her bubbly personality. You go girl.
There's a girl who can rule in a man's world.
I enjoyed this review! Thanks Emme!
That all black VIPER looks fantastic! Very badass!! Great review Emme!
"hey you wanna race?"....no not really thanks though. ..
also not a dodge anymore hun
Is now.....
Great video Emme! Love the car
Love the car and the review. Keep the good stuff coming Emme. Thanks again.
They screwed up the front end on the new Viper. Looks too much like the new Vette.
The new Viper debuted before the new Vette
Yeah the new viper came first. And I kinda like the looks of the older viper, the one right before they discontinued it. The taillights I like, of the new viper. It kinda looks like an aston from the back. For a viper the best color is the blue with the white racing stripes down the middle.
Jeff M
Agree about liking the older looks of the viper. I agree as well that the best look is the blue with the white racing stripes. Although the new Viper came first, it looks like they modeled the front end of the previous Vette (is what I mean to say)
MrStiggy91
Right. I should have clarified. Looks like the Viper team took the front end styling off a Vette and modded it to fit the new look Viper.
Viper was on sale and production long before the vette came out moron
Silly review
Great review. Well done Emme.
Hahaha thank you camera man!! ^^ Love you Emme!!! Great review as usual.
Thank you Emme ! I LOVE IT !
She's bonkers!
I will have to watch more Emmies stuff because the way you put things across works really well :)
No worries. I appreciate your honesty. I'm pretty lucky to get to drive all these great cars and I just hope to do a good job for everyone.

Great vid Emme! See you soon.
very nice review!!!
Awesome review
Great review
This is my first time I've seen an Emme Hall vid but I loved it. She drives stick well and does just as good as any male. Digging her a lot in this video! Very good job on the review!
Awsome review, finally the SRT team up dated the Viper. It is a world class GT super car. Great job Emme keep it comming.
great details on the review! I dig the style commenary also.
love the smooth flowing bodylines reminds me of the 1997/98 viper gts
Thank y ou Emme, fantastic review!!
what I liked most about this car is how it changes colors, black to red. does it has a special botton to do that?
I rather enjoyed this review. There was a good mix of professional and goofy personality which I like. I like your style. Keep it up. Plus, this is my all-time favorite car.
I love your reviews Emme Hall! you could make a Toyota Corolla review exciting.
I have zero interest in American cars... but I watched this all the way through to the end. Highly entertaining and informative. Keep up the great work!
Emme Hall is just AMAZING!!
Emme Hall is a boss, one of my fave auto reviewers! 🤣♥️🙏
cool review
If you to get this snake, what color will you choose??????
Beautiful!
Emme, you're doing a great job! I wish I could drive the cars you do haha:P
how tall do you guys think the girl is, because i am 6'5 and hard for me to see out because of the roofline leaning forward too much.nice review btw
My favorite super car of all the time, fall in love with it in grand turismo and now guess who's driving it huh? My favorite angel. The best female reviewer i've watched!!! Keep it up darling
Never in my life have I seen a woman drive a Viper.
Bravo to you for not killing yourself!
which one is faster then ford gt40 or the new viper ?
love the new body lines and style... still waiting on those headlights to grow on me though
It is good to have a great HOST!!! Good looking car too...
nothing like a beautiful lady reviewing a beautiful car...thumbs up!
I also love how its only manual so not everyone while but it which makes it more rare.
Love the hair!
what's the MPG on that "daily driver" ?
so where did you drive it fast?
emma, and ross r my favs on this channel
Beautiful car they did a really nice job with this car!!!
Nice review, and thanks for not wasting time with the basket rating on this one (though it is effective with family cars). My only gripe is that I have no idea what causes the price difference between base and as-tested. Mention of the SRT goodies was the only possible reason that I could glean. Thanks, one of your better reviews, but not enough exhaust/engine sound!
While completely different cars with huge differences in track capabilities...but based on price...GTR or GTS?
I was gonna make a get back in the kitchen comment but, I gotta say ur review rocked. Thumbs up!
Very impressive! Just go to the Motor Trend / Car & Driver channels and you'll be hard-pressed to find more than a handful of reviews with half the passion or personality of this one. Well done Emme!
How does the Viper compare to the ZR1? What's the all-important LBR? can't believe you left that out!
Didn't see your full conversation but just trying to help there is a video of the 7:12 time by the viper I think if you type in viper returns to Nurburgring or Viper 7:12 it should pop up.
your evo makes 790hp, what mods do you have?
Maybe the squirrel wanted some tail....great vid on the Viper Emme
Great review...but no laundry basket rating?
When release?
What's Italian about it, besides the interior and electronic driver aids?
How is that? They are both the same price, speed, and both can kick ASS.
Yeah but how long does it take to get there? That just means second gear is taller which is not really a good thing
Looks good
Emma did a very good job hosting and commenting on this car. I didn't feel like she was just there to real in viewers for her looks and stuff; she actually sounded sincere and like she knew what she was talking about. And while I'm proud and happy for us Americans to have this great car, you can't honestly call it all American... Fiat had lots of influence on Dodge and they're just as Italian as those Ferraris and Lamborghinis
Good description of the car. You said a few things that Motor Trend didn't point out
I guarantee you, at least 70 to 80% of the reason why people buy those cars is to have that performance available and that sound of the v8 / v10 growling. The fact that it's a car that can be a daily driver and that looks good etc., is really just icing on the cake. I know VERY hard-working people that buy these cars and drive them hard.
Purpose-built track day car owners buy them 100% for performance, and in turn, they trade certain things that keep it from being a logical road car.
MOST automotive video reviewers (male or female) are pretty bad, even from the major magazines, but I was pleasantly surprised by Emme Hall. She speaks conversationally rather than stiff and scripted, but she also doesn't try to be TOO clever or cutesy either. I do voice over work and am very picky about who I like to watch and listen to. Emma is so relaxed and comfortable that it's impossible not to like her.
hey Emme, since you mentioned American Supercars, there is this small company out of Michigan who build a fully proprietary developed and built mid-engine beast, using all American components. the car is called Falcon F7, i think it's high times that one of the major car magazines steps up and helps that company to spread the good word about it and pays them a visit to introduce that machine to the broad public so a wide audience can learn about it.
She gave a very nice review. I wish people wouldn't make rude comments about her.
Reminds me of those beautifully sculpted TVR's. And that is always a good thing.:)
Honestly the best review of this car I have seen so far, besides the one from Jay Leno maybe =P.
I put an order for mine. In Canada it will come spring of 2013. But I got one of the first on Canada. They are out now
Emme, how did it feel to drive that Viper?
pure venom indeed. good review
I love how she jumps to the sound of the viper exhaust while its starting up. I mean music.
I'm a fan of it. I think they did a really good job resurrecting the Viper heritage.
I still want to know what the gas mileage is. No one has reported the MPGs.
can we see a zr1 and viper comparison?
What is the MPG?
I'm glad we have a domestic supercar that is refined enough to stand next to europe's auto elite. Now that the Viper can also function as a GT, I'm adding it back to my dream car list.
I never mentioned purpose-built track day cars and performance/price in the same sentence.
The only place to compare a purpose-built track day car to a Viper or Corvette, is on the track. You can't compare them as road cars. It's quite obvious that the Viper or Corvette would be the better package, all things considered. Performance/price is a main consideration, but I don't know of any actual purpose-built track day cars that we make, which would be what i'd compare to the SR8/Atoms?
Hello again Emme. FIRST, I want to agree with you about one thing YES EVERYBODY LIKES TO GET A LITTLE TAIL. It SHOULD explain why I keep inviting to to dinner. Enough about that. For the the VERY FIRST TIME I am actually jealous of you, your graduate level education AND your job. The waiting list is SO long for a new Viper that I might as well wait for the drop top just to hear you say "HOLLA" :-) Love you as always. Oh,and thank Charlie for me for letting you do THIS test.
(PS NO BURNOUT?)
On this one you're spot on!
But is it a visceral driving experience?
this car suits her very well they both have very unique characters
Cant wait for Jeremy to reveiw this beast
Where r u now emmy?
How? The GTO is 3 years old now and the 599 shape is 7.
I luv Emme!
I like her.. She seems honest.. And seems to know some about cars.
