In track and field the later your predictions are is the more relevant it becomes. You have to be really analytical and have some sort of inside information to make bold predictions before trials. Your more likely to be accurate closer to the actual Olympics when the list of all participating countries and athletes have been finalized. A lot can happen in 2 weeks. Better yet, 6 weeks.

I fully agree with Ato’s prediction and I’m expecting this trend to continue for along time if most of the athletes do not wake up and follow the blue print of the Great Usain Bolt , the lack of early season over distance running is the major factor and too much weight training is definitely the reason.. Oblique Seville is definitely going to do great because he finally gets the message and decided to do what he’s supposed to do. Akeem Blake and yuhan Blake are over weighing and the lack of running the over distance will definitely affect them both .. Jackson is too heavy but I think she has some time to clean up and win a couple medals

She normally wins her races because of her rocket starts, so it's a significant setback for her without it. So in a contest between an injured athlete and a fully fit athlete, it is logical to expect the injured athlete to lose, and illogical to say "blown away" as you described it.

Thank you for this - Here is the medal count: 4 in the 100M men and women -1 Gold, 2 Bronze and 1 Silver; relay (4x100M) 2 - Silver for the men and Gold for the women if they organize the team properly but if they fall to put talent where they belong; it will cost a podium finish or bronze on the line.
200M - 1 Gold, Ms. Jackson will fight for here Only Olympic ware; it may be difficult for the men to get a bronze but I am not counting it OUT! We've 5 FIVE medals here for sure.

The victory by Oblique Seville was a circumstantial win and he getting smoked in Paris by Noah Lyles just watch. He will not have the advantage of home cooking of a gunman. I also noticed the times at that track in Jamaica are all fast times which I find very peculiar to me. Julian ran a time of 10.78 after just getting beat by Shacarri and she ran a time of 10.93 which is quite a big improvement in a week. Shacarri just smoked Julian Afried. Anyway, The gun going off unexpectedly caught Noah off guard, he was not able to get ready and set in the blocks to anticipate the gun going off like all sprinters should have the opportunity to do. Also, I don't think Noah was expecting Seville to get that quick of a jump start but remember, Noah Lyles said the gunman really helped Oblique get that great start to win that race. Seville is use to that gunman and those antics. A gun going off unexpectedly would throw any sprinter off especially on their start not having a chance to anticipate when the gun is going to go off. Noah complained about that and if you know Noah he is not a complainer at all. So if he said the gunman initiated the start unexpectedly then that is what happened.
