I bought my Merrin Guitar in 2003. I love it! A fantastic instrument from a great guy.
I met David last year at Buckden Towers Guitar Weekend. A lovely, humble and incredibly skilled craftsman.
I really liked him.
His guitars are stunning, they sound beautiful and to top it off, that was a kick ass Asturias ;)
WOW! thank you for video beautiful work of art
That's a great polishing. if you look at the mirror image of his hand you can see it's almost perfect leveled/ flat
Impressive .A very good craftmean and seems very likeable.
He is right ,guitar does work best in intimate setting
I took a luthier nightschool course in 1986 because I didn't have an acoustic. Built a beautiful instrument that plays so good. I have had many compliments from good players on that guitar. It's not really that hard. Downright easy if you have any woodworking skills. You can literally build it on your kitchen table. LOL
The neck is made from Honduras cedar. Thanks for your interest.
Master!!
How can I level the two halves of the top to glue it, because I can't make it 😣😥
Could you help me and write the name of wood for neck? Thank you.
