Great job, guys! Well done, all of you! This is a great song and riff from a unique band. Ningen Isu translates as "The Human Chair", which is the title of a short Japanese horror story, much like the name Black Sabbath was taken from a 1960's Boris Karloff horror movie. I have come to the conclusion that due to some childhood trauma, Andy hates all solos, haha! Maybe someday he'll shock everyone and say a solo doesn't suck, haha! The singer/lead guitarist/songwriter, Shinji Wajima studied Buddhism in college. These guys have been around since 1987. Kirk, notice he said "painful AS hell", not that there is a hell, but only as a simile, I think. "Toshishun" is a fly in the ointment.

"NINGEN", written as "人間" in Japanese, and meaning "human", is pronounced as /gén/, not /dʒén/. The /gé/ part sounds like the word "get" without the "t". Alternatively, you could also pronounce it similar to the German names "Meiningen" or "Groningen" as /nIŋən/. Laughter.
