I'm only halfway through the video but already I feel so inspired and comforted at the same time. I have a Playlist called "Creating my Dream Life" where I collect any video I feel will help get me there. I don't want to be an artist (I think, not sure if God might have that planned for me..) but what strikes me about your video is that you said once you decided to pursue this the obstacles came. I think it's so important to invite that aspect of creating the life one wants into the whole process. Because there will be obstacles and denying that I feel only makes it harder. Thank you for sharing yourself like that ❤
I loved this video. It reminds me of the saying that happiness is like a butterfly landing on you unexpectedly. It happens when you are still and not planning, expecting or thinking about it.
"Art is an escape" heard ever so often- we seek for places to get away from where we are at a time but will have to know that they are only temporary. But then there will be a time where even something that makes us happy becomes less joyful again and it turns into something we have to do leading to development of negative energy again. We all want to feel good and enjoy life yet have to take it in the amounts given to us in order to value them however they are created for us but not abuse them. There is the need to get away from "must do things" that we have to obey by ourselves or others but it is a chance that is designed to last for some time only. It's the same with sadness and depression - it may feel like we are in that state forever but also know that they will not last forever. We have moments of bittersweetness when we realize that there is hope out there. Unfortunately the sadness seems to be more powerful then the happiness and we need to grasp on the good moments, discover and utilize the satisfaction it gives us and keep the thoughts alive that they are out there. I read a book before and I wish I remember it's title but I remember the following - our brain is not designed to be happy or sad all the time. Those feelings are created through hormones that been released by memories, the active ones, the one in the background subconciously that sadly only last for a bit and can't feed us forever as our brains get swamped with other thoughts - fortunately we can try to find them again to effect us in a good way again. "“Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final. - Rilke”"
fantastic video! I agree with you 100% and I live this way in general daily. I check in within myself, my heart and soul, as to what to do next. :)
