I watched Bindi's birth video where Terri made that comment, while the film crew filmed the birth. After that was shown, it was later heavily edited to crop out the film crew. There was no such full coverage of Robert's birth, but it did show Terri being transported to the delivery room by wheelchair.
I'm crying and i never even met the guy. I remember Steve dragging the film crew in when she was born. That was hilarious. Then they named her after a crocodile and a dingo. We thought that was the greatest things ever. Congrats Bindi Sue. I think it's so sweet that you're a mom now!! 💞 My son is a lot like Steve. He catches anoles, lizards, snakes, turtles and pretty much anything he can get his hands on. He studies the animals and knows all about them. I call him my little Steve Irwin. He never hurts them and if they are sick, he makes me go find medicine. At the moment he has a Bearded dragon, bullfrog, snake and another frog. We bought the dragon but he made me buy the sick one. His foot and tail were deformed but taking him to a special vet because most won't take him and getting his lighting right has really helped him. Sampson is almost 2 years old now and seems much better. The bullfrog was caught under a rock. My son nursed him back to health. Well actually he'd have to get creative to put the salve on but he did it. I even donated an old pirex dish for a pool. He likes it because the light heats it. I figured if we could bake in it, he could swim in it. He has a miniature version of the river in his tank. Miniature trees, plants, shade, sun and dry land. It's awesome!! All of his animals have what they need and as many things they like as possible. As much as i loved Steve and as much as I'm proud of my son, i can't help but worry. I'm helpless though because... Do you remember the look Steve Irwin had in his eyes when he looked at animals? My son has that same look in his eyes. So how can i ever try to get in the way of that? I've had him literally jump out of a car to chase down a critter. Scares me to death but it's like he just won the lottery or something when he catches it. I've learned to just be patient. He'll put it down and come back in a minute. But the look in his eyes, Only Steve has that same look. Wide excited eyes like he is looking at the greatest treasure he ever saw... 👀😍
Broke my heart when Steve Irwin passed away. The guy really lived life to the full, and had such an amazing family. Now Bindi is a mother and I'm sure he'll be looking down filled with pride. Congrats to everyone involved 💖💖💖💖 K
Well, Bob Irwin (Steve’s dad) may never be allowed to meet his great granddaughter, don’t forget that! After Steve died, Terri pushed Bob out of the zoo and his grandchildren’s lives! If Bindi misses her dad, she could let him meet her great grandfather Bob, who is Bindi’s grandpa that she froze out of her life after Steve died! How cruel!
I was so Blessed to have got t see the Australia Zoo when I visited Australia. It will always be a huge nightlight in my life. Thank you Terri, Bindi, Robert , Chandler and the amazing team at Australia Zoo for keeping Steve’s memory alive with the dedication all of you put into the Zoo.
im just a year older than bindi. her dad inspired me as i grew up watching him on TV. him, along with my parents, sparked a love for animals i never outgrew. his passing was one of the first deaths i experienced as a child. when my parents explained what happened i was crushed. to think that bindi had to grow up without her dad is heartbreaking. but i thank him for showing me to love all creatures. now im about 1 1/2 years away from graduating with my bachelors in animal science and wildlife management. I couldnt imagine having met him in person, he was truly an inspiration to me.

Babies don't know fear, only reflexes, most fears are taught behaviours. Growing up with the dinosaur from birth will only make them a normal part of her life. Like bindi is with the crocs. Newborns can also only see a few cm in front of their face for the first few weeks so she won't even see the nursery in its entirety for months lol 🤣 you can't be scare a newborn with things only their own reflexes

I was watching Cody ITC spirit box session of Steve Irwin on UA-cam. He is happy that his children are following in his footsteps of running the Zoo. He also mentioned that he woke up in a large field when he died and felt like a dream ( heaven).
