- I show you how to install these upgraded projector headlights from eBay vendor K2Motor in the Mk6 Jetta (this is not sponsored- I bought these headlights with my own money). In my opinion- they are the best looking headlights for the Mk6. And the improved lighting is quite noticeable EVEN with the H1 halogen bulbs. Very happy with the result! Can’t wait for when the xenon retrofit arrives!

Haha i agree! I change lights for improved lighting so seeing the light on the ground before and after is a critical. I know some folks do it just for the looks on the car… to each their own lol

Thanks for the video on these :) i've got a 2016 1.4 facelift and was trying to find some decent lights for a good price, and these fit the bill perfectly. Can't wait for them to get here so I can re-watch this video 45 times trying to install them lmfao hope they fit right!

Thanks! It’s double the work at times but it’s worth it IMO. There isnt much Spanish content out there in the auto section (when compared to English content). Plus, i needed the Spanish practice anyway 😂. My Spanish has degraded to Spanglish over the years so this is helping me too lol. Btw you got a sub! Your Jetta is looking CLEAN!

I got them. Ceramic coat the lens. After 2 years they start fading bad. Other than that they solid. I’m working on retrofitting these.BiLed projector, rgb drl, demon eye and halos.
Yes! I will certainly stay on top of keeping that ceramic coating fresh! Now that you mention that, i may do a 3M clear wrap over them to protect them even further! I’ve done that on prior cars and worked perfectly for years. Your build sounds awesome ! Good luck with it

No need. The housings come with single filament H1 bulbs. The “high beam” function is actuated by the shutter that goes up and down behind the projector lenses :)

They do not. I forgot now what the stock halogen bulb is. But these housings use an H1 bulb
Now that it’s been over a year, what are your thoughts on these headlights? Looking at getting a set for myself and want to know if they’ve held up!!
So they’ve held up great! Have done 3 read trips since installing, with both daytime and nighttime driving. No issues with them. Even now with the hotter temps of the xenon bulb in them as of 6-ish months ago. Definitely happy with them!
How did you get the side marker light to work
It just worked as intended. These headlights were 100% Plug and Play

1. Nu văd mai nimic noaptea
2. Am o singură fază. Nu se schimbă din faza scurtă pe faza lungă.

Have someone go inside the car while you put your ear by the headlights. With the headlights ON, have the person inside hit the high beam and you listen for a clicking sound of the shutter moving UP/ DOWN. If you do NOT hear it… I would trst the connector to make sure the High beam signal is getting to the headlights. If the signal IS detected at the connector, you have bad headlight and you need to replace them. If you do NOT detect the high beam signal at the connector, the problem is on the car’s side. USA-market cars are not required to have electric adjustment for headlights, if that is what you’re referring to. Theres also only one big connector in the back of the headlight and it connected perfectly. I am not sure what you’re asking that did not connect (could be Google Translate problem)

Correct. It’s a hi/low projector so high beam is just a shutter that moves to allow more light out and up

These housings included all bulbs so I didn't have to source them
Do you have any plans to sell your old headlights?
Not at this point. Actually debating attempting a projector retrofit on them or selling. Have not yet made the decision on that.
