Thx mate, Very nice of you
These are very lovely and my husband and I have decided to place an order for this amazing set, but I have to ask (without being rude) why are there no black soldiers painted in your set: it is my understanding that this would be far more realistic to do?
Hi there, it's a great set you'll love it. i don't have any black soldiers as yet as they formed independent regiments and there were no mixed units. Perry's make some very nice minis for these guys I just haven't got round to expanding the armies yet
I wonder why the zouaves arent a full unit size in the box, throws off my ocd 😅
Or did you split them in half rebs and half union zouaves?
Yes I split them. I was planning on finishing off both regiments when I got another battle in a box set. However I’m thinking of selling them now as I have the Warlord Epic ones and I don’t think I can warrant having ACW in 2 scales
sadly perrys website said this box is not sold outside of the uk, wondering why
That is a shame. I know they’ve been having trouble with international posting so that might be the reason?
@@leont66wargaming31 hahA ik what you mean, i have 28 mm and 13 mm french and british and 28& 13 mm union and rebs and jump between poainting them all and cant settle on one scale
Did you ever buy another box?
Hi Jay. No not yet lol. It’s still on my list though.
Leon T66 wargaming 😂🤣 Maybe I’ll share some of mine with you, as your video is really inspiring me into buying a box.
Haha. Yes, might get me motivated to finally buy the 2nd box
Leon T66 wargaming I ended up ordering the Confederate infantry box with 44 figures. If I like painting them I’ll take the plunge and buy this. Only thing I don’t like is “basing” and it looks like I’ll need to do that with these figures to make them look nice like yours.
Nice. That’s a good plan. Try them out first and see how you get on. The Rebs do take a bit longer to paint than the Union troops.
Supurb
Thanks Martin
You are going to need a bigger table
Lol. Yes definitely
tutorials???
Hi mate, I don't have any ACW troops left to do a tutorial; but if you watch 2 of my other vids titled 'ACW painting challenge' and Perry's battle in a box confederates finished' i run through all the paints i used there if that helps
