2024 Jetour Ice Cream review: Pint-sized full battery EV tested | Top Gear Philippines

- The best way to describe the Jetour Ice Cream? It’s a box on wheels driven by electricity. This pint-sized (strawberry-flavored, in this case) full battery EV is almost like a personal mobility device-that’s how tiny it is. And it’s meant for very short commutes, too, given the range.
Still, it‘s one of the most adorable things you’ll see on the road, and it has its unique selling points. What does the P699,000 asking price get you, and should you consider it if you’re planning to shift to electric power? Click play on the video above for our full review.

If only the Ice Cream was priced lower. You can get the Suzuki Spresso or the Toyota Wigo in the same price range. Both more spacious and more practical to buy.
Save your money for a better product
Pinakita din sana on how to get in and get out sa backseat if hassle ba since two-door lang yung car. Real life scenario, may sumakay sa likod, may nakalimutan or biglang naihi bago bumyahe, bababa ulit, sasakay ulit pabalik.
try to drive a Wuling Gameboy. Im 5 10 and have been using it since September have gone to Baguio and Vigan
good review. thanks.
Thetes a dongfeng model that offers premium interior and addtl features for less than that. Even charging time is less anf km range is higher plus speed can take you running they say at 100kph. Can u or have u already reviewed it ?
Looks perfect in Floodway/Greenland Cainta.
What a fun daily commuter. They need to sell this car in the US.
How tall are you and how much do you weigh?
Better get the spresso or wigo. This ev for 699k is too much. Pwde pa sana if somewhere around 450k~
IIRC This is around 300k in China, brand new. But of course, the local distro needs to earn profit on top of the taxes.
Vios o mirage o jetour?
Will the range go down significantly if you use the aircon all the time day and night?
According to other vlog, yes
i think its gbt and the adaptor is gbt to type 2
I'll support the Filipino made in Laguna for 250k e-jeep
Why CN to PH price markup so high???
Transport, taxes pagpasok sa pinas and patong sa kita
Overpriced yan.. that car does not cost 699k here in China. In fact that car and the Wuling mini EV only cost 40k RMB which is around 300k Pesos
Whether brand-new or used, purchased or donated, the imported vehicle is subject to 40% Customs duty, 10% VAT and Ad Valorem Tax from 15% to 100% depending on its piston displacement. Its book value serves as the tax base and not the purchase price nor the acquisition cost.
Kaso magiiba yata when it comes to EVs, ksi may EV law.
I was expecting the price below 100k but 699k? Naah I could already get a 2nd hand honda crv, toy fortuner, rav4, mits monty, hyundai santa fe or bnew kawasaki z1000
699k? You could get a brand new wigo for that price thats way better build quality and spacious enough for 4 people.. So its a big no 👎👎👎
Better get a suzuki spresso
Unfortunately a lot of china cars are sold at over twice the price here. This would have been more attractive if it were less than half a million.
Its less than 300k in China. Even with markups, it shouldnt cost more than 400k here. 700k is just a ripoff. Partida EV pa yan and small vehicle so the lowest tax amongst vehicles dapat.
Taxes bro
I would rather buy a petrol car.
ev is better
Kahit may EV law na, mataas parin presyo, wala di parin sya magiging mabenta sa pinoy ksi pwede k ng bumili ng gas car sa presyo nya
Every single EV sold in the PH market is overpriced, they can’t possibly compete with ICE cars that have more ooomph for the buck. Corporate greed, or is our government simply inutile when it comes to making Earth-friendly solutions affordable to the masses? (I say it’s obviously the latter)
