It's definitely too expensive, but I suspect that a lot of it is due to the large amount of unique/proprietary engineering needed. Not a lot of standard parts on this car.
it's a brand new car company ,they need to break even with costs ,if it does go more popular in the future ,then prices will come down i love it ,i really wish the best for microlino
VW Beetle and Citroen 2CV were breakthrough cars. They were real solutions for the mobility problems of the masses. They were affordable, cheap to run and easily maintained. Nowadays, not many companies are actually interested in offering any solutions for problems. Car industry has done a lot of damage with their bad policies, such as promoting heavy SUV's with huge engines, and selling one to everyone who didn't need one. I get it, this thing is not being offered as a solution for anything! It certainly is just an unjustifiably expensive toy (for most people)! Then again, most electric cars are! It's a shame though, because I would have loved to have one!
Just to clarify it is Not a car but more like a quadricycle or an urban mobility object similar to the Citroen ami or the Opel rocks-e and based on this very fact should have priced accordingly at maximum of 10 thousand dollars or euros to make any sense.
