Even that's too much. Check the electric cars that china is able to produce and sell for $12 - $15k, This should realistically be €7k - 9k, * especially* with DC only charging
Had it been priced more modestly if could become a popular city vehicle for the average person. Now it’s more of a convenient addition for the rich. But at the same time, is it fancy enough to attract that market segment?
It's definitely too expensive, but I suspect that a lot of it is due to the large amount of unique/proprietary engineering needed. Not a lot of standard parts on this car.
it's a brand new car company ,they need to break even with costs ,if it does go more popular in the future ,then prices will come down i love it ,i really wish the best for microlino
Originally I thought my wife would love this, but when he said there is no air-conditioning that was it, we can't have it, not here in Thailand. We have no need for heater. The end.

In my oppinion the price is okay, because the Microlino is not build by a huge OEM. And I was ready to buy it. Seems like it's suspension is rigid, or doesn't even have one? I saw this size car but the gas version and it was from the 70s or 80s I think. Hybrid would be the sweet spot for this thing. At least have the option for those who want more mileage and not have to worry about range anxiety
VW Beetle and Citroen 2CV were breakthrough cars. They were real solutions for the mobility problems of the masses. They were affordable, cheap to run and easily maintained. Nowadays, not many companies are actually interested in offering any solutions for problems. Car industry has done a lot of damage with their bad policies, such as promoting heavy SUV's with huge engines, and selling one to everyone who didn't need one. I get it, this thing is not being offered as a solution for anything! It certainly is just an unjustifiably expensive toy (for most people)! Then again, most electric cars are! It's a shame though, because I would have loved to have one!
I've seen one on the road in Geneva, and I find the lights that are on the side mirrors are too high and can be annoying for people you cross on the road, other than that, solid little city car it seems
Just to clarify it is Not a car but more like a quadricycle or an urban mobility object similar to the Citroen ami or the Opel rocks-e and based on this very fact should have priced accordingly at maximum of 10 thousand dollars or euros to make any sense.
Yeah, I can't seem to get the greedyness of manufacturers... The point of cars like this in the past was to be cheap, reliable and easy to drive and use... What is the point of a tiny car if it costs like a normal car where you would get a lot more
Easy to find the controls -unlike many cars now. Because they have too many things, so you CAN'T find things, unless you have owned those cars for a long time.

naaaah bruh. If noT that is potentially the second problem to be solved. Is the sun roof included in all models? If so then that solves the first critique I made, and is awesome to be included in all models hopefully. Love that it's electric. Needs a longer range, & faster charging time; Try LTO batteries. Add plug-in, fold down to compact, portable, high quality solar charging panels, built-in solar mppt controller, inverter, outlets for AC, & DC input & output to the batteries and outlet, regenerative braking, Now we are talking maybe $9999.00 USD highest practical price according to my budget. How's the stereo sound, feel, and inspire the driving experience? The marketing concept is brilliant though, there is a demand for these type of vehicles world wide. This is what EVs should be.. small, lighter easier.... The killer is the price.. it needs to be around 10-12 000€ (effectively half what they want to sell it for( and then it will find customers... Remember it is only ever a small 2 seater.. maybe mass production might see the price drop
