Thousands marched in a hikoi to Waitangi today to mark the signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. At the Treaty Grounds, leaders gathered for a dawn service amid controversy over the Treaty Principles Bill. Prime Minister Christopher Luxon was absent, spending the day at Ōnuku Marae.
