Idk if it was intentional or not, but Trortur's story was almost a one-to-one replica of Sand dan Glokta from Joe Abercrombie's First Law series. So regarding Ma'havre and Ma'habre, in Japanese the consonant sounds for B and V are essentially the same. This is also true for the sounds of L and R; for example if you said "London" in Japanese, it might sound like "RONDON." Miro is a weeb, is what I'm saying.
To be more exact, Japanese does not contain the L consonant. Rather, it contains the "voiced alveolar tap," a rhotic (R-like) consonant. In rōmaji, this sound is written as "r." The alveolar tap also exists in other languages, like Spanish and even some words in American English (the "t" in butter and water). It just happens to sound a bit like an L depending on context, so it's commonly said that that's how Japanese people pronounce Ls because it's the most common substitute for L in Japanese. TL;DR: You have awoken the most primordial of beings: Linguistics nerds.

If anything he just looks more dark and brooding, while prettyboy Le'garde ages like milk EDIT: random note but there's an unused book in the game files called the Seildna Modnaf Dilemma that discusses some unknown deity warping human wisdom. Interesting to me is that Seildna Modnaf backwards is "fandom andlies" which y'know "fandom and lies" that "twist human knowledge" sounds like the developer writing in an in-universe character malding over how the fandom butchers the story through fan-theories and speculation which if overdone can ruin the fun of it. Then again that's just me speculating, which is very, very, very ironic
I think it's possible that maybe Darce is bisexual but she just doesn't really understand that's an option (given the time period obviously those terms didn't exist and i feel like orange~ gets very historically accurate even with his lgbt+ rep) or the thing in dungeon nights is meant to just be a reference to the old artwork or perhaps a previous concept of Darce that might have been lesbian? To be more exact, Japanese does not contain the L consonant. Rather, it contains the "voiced alveolar tap," a rhotic (R-like) consonant.
In rōmaji, this sound is written as "r." The alveolar tap also exists in other languages, like Spanish and even some words in American English (the "t" in butter and water).
It just happens to sound a bit like an L depending on context, so it's commonly said that that's how Japanese people pronounce Ls because it's the most common substitute for L in Japanese.
TL;DR: You have awoken the most primordial of beings: Linguistics nerds.
@@maow-tty-archive Usually it's me doing that to other people. So that's what it feels like.
Sorry 3 months late, but your "Lohikäärme" was very good! Also I think the Salmonsnake is Axolotl since they are considered a water dragons and the feet and weird neckahir are similiar
Let's goo! This is gonna be good! 😎
Hope you enjoy it!
Nas'hrah is a new god right? I wonder if the Yellow Mages are the only thing keeping him out of the hall. If they see a resurgence, perhaps his vitality might return.
Still very short, just kidding. It is evident that you put effort in your content and also care about your public wants and that is simply excellent work right there, man. I really liked the video and hope you keep around uploading amazing content.
Thank you so much! I'll try my best!
14:26 Its possible that the Salmonsnake is based on the real life Olm. These animals, long time ago, were considered "dragons" for some cultures.
Maybe!
Woah the fact about the 10% chance to have the cavedweller village massacred is insane, like imagine getting that on your first playthru and you see the moon guard just standing there omg, I would have definitely screamed 🙈🙈🙈 super fun vid!! Always a treat to have new fun funger content from the funger king!! 💪💪💪
Yeah that happening the 1st run would be kinda sad
that event happened on my first run. I didn't question it much until I started more runs and noticed that that was not how things usually were
It happened to me 4 or 5 times I tought this was exclusive to Cahara until this video
Here it is. The must gigantic iseberg you wil ever see! Love your videos. Hope the channel grows very fast!
here's how bisexual d'arce can still win
The salmonsnake is not really a changed version of the dragon depicted in ma'habre but just it's true form as the statue in ma'habre is a representation of how the people though how dragons look like cuz they didn't know.
statue? The dragon in mahabre is a real dragon which was also thrusted with the war scythe! Salmonsnake is almost surely a dragon infected by darkness
@@frapollo94 hm I didn't know that. Maybe I was wrong. Thanks for the extra context
16:24 how on earth does his stinger fit in the small hole??
I love that now we're wondering the real questions
Bro the last one legit gave me goosebumps. Holy shit.
If you're gonna do one about termina I'd love if you put "moonschorced Karin was originally a fan made elden ring boss" as an entry since it's a pretty unknown fact
Wow I had no idea, gonna write this down thanks!
Really great video, I really liked your first iceberg too, this was even better. Keep it up!
Will do my best!
of all the people affected by Ruin, Ragnvaldr actually ages quite nicely, and looks far less gaunt and frail than the rest of them. If anything he just looks more dark and brooding, while prettyboy Le'garde ages like milk
EDIT: random note but there's an unused book in the game files called the Seildna Modnaf Dilemma that discusses some unknown deity warping human wisdom.
I’ve always loved your coverage of fear and hunger overall! Keep up the great work man and love your voice as always!❤
Awww thanks valtie-WAIT, VALTIEL? IS THAT YOU?!
@@frapollo94 👀
You think that you've finished but i sense another MORE DEEPER iceberg video along the way.
NONONONONONO FOR NOW I'LL REST
@@frapollo94will you really?
Good video as always , hope you can reach 100k by the end of this year
Awww thank you so much! I doubt it will happen but I appreciate your words!
20:14 The original one isn't perfectly white either
Yeah, I just said this one is less white
@@frapollo94 I don't think I agree with that either :)
Yessss thank you so much for taking the time to make a longer version. Excellent job!
Thanks!
I would love to look inside orange~'s brain
That's a possibility for sure!
gnome milk does have a use, you can make gnomes run from you in battle with them.
No that's yellow vial
@@frapollo94 well color me stupid lmao. Thought I did that at some point.
If D'arce was lesbian, the delicate and feminine looking Le'garde would have better chances than any other man. He is based on Griffith after all.
Fear and hunger has a potential to become a movie/series if done and directed correctly
In my first playthrough I had an elite guard roaming a stretch corridor that was the only path to trotur... what a rough way to greet a new player
Look at the bright side! Now you realised it's better to not approach elite guards!
And is good to mention that necronomicon is a famous ominous book from an enormous variety of universes
True!
