I can’t wait to be done with Nursing school and in my career so that I can have a car to build. It wouldn’t be an STI, but I have a personal goal of building a car to at least 800whp. It would be a fun project. Cool build 👍

@@jaredchampagne2752 oh man I'm soon to join the subaru community after this Corona shit goes away!!! How do you like the car? is it good for someone who's trying to learn manual?
That's what I was thinking. To give him the benefit of the doubt, assuming he was on his "break in tune" and that was a full exhaust LS3 Corvette... some ricer math says his car is a 125ish trap car on a break in tune. However, that kind of power on a car that weight should be probably somewhere closer to a 160 car.
MeltingRubberZ28 You would be surprised, I have seen videos of the Demon getting gapped by the Z06 C7, and on the Subaru (I love Subarus btw), it has that large wing which causes drag. Basically put a rectangle box in a wind tunnel (Subaru) and take a triangular box (Corvette), and compare the aerodynamics, the triangle would win. It also depends if the Corvette is Manual or not, if it’s an Auto, then yes, it could beat that Subaru since auto is quicker. Also, N/A could have an advantage since there is no turbo lag and power is there.
@@realskywere I mean....I am an engineer and have street raced for years. Pretty well aware of how wind resistance works. Until about 100 it's basically negligible, and even then it's going to be something that ~50hp would overcome, not 400.

You hit on a topic that I've been having issues with for awhile.. engine kill after getting off the throttle, curious on what you guys did to smooth that out?
@@BaderBuiltRacing in your video and seen in other videos, when you get off the throttle your engine has a hard time controlling idle and dies a lot. Ive been plagued with that for a while. I ended up increasing the idle rpm. But with 2k injectors, the afr still bounces back and forth all the time. You seem to have figured a way to get all that smoothed out. Curious on how? :) does that make more sense?
@@Koop714 Yes sir that makes more sense, the idle on the grey car is even harder to dial in idle due to cam lope and cam gears with no avcs. It makes you rely on your tuner more for getting the car to idle.
