Well what do we have here...Banshee 1943? I mean, 1943, 1942 and Banshee are pretty identical, however I prefer those other two games, I do not really know why. Sure, this one is better in every aspect but this is actually for the Commodore Amiga 1200 and I am comparing it to the NES games, not the arcade ones. I do not really like the sound effects of this game, especially the plane engine but overall it is a good game, even though it is a clone. Great graphics, but 1200 could do much more. Rate: 15/20
36:50 yea thats why one should have the bomb and not the missle equiped. Generator is onehit for that entire thing (as far as i recall). Also, since when is one able to kill the woman with the childcarrier? Did i miss something? Could be the german version is slightly censored so she is invunerable (thou i never had bombs at that point realy as they can blow up some stuff on the ground otherwise indestructable like certain roof's)
People say that it's 194X series ripoff. It's like nobody else can use WWII style airplane in their game or something? Do people complain about DoDonPachi using a generic looking spaceships like those in dozens of SHMUPs since late 80's?

Yeah Amiga 1200 Longplays awesome.
Yes when you get right down to it this is a 1942/1943 clone but it is far superior in every aspect to those games on the Amiga. Really good SHMUP.
Still I did the idea this steampunkish guy is thwarting alien plans to advance earthlings past the 1950's!

Nice graphics but shameful 25fps. Not acceptable on A1200 five years after Battle Squadron.
