This was the best scene in the film for me, just builds up both kaiju so well. You have Rodan destroying those jets with ease only to get bodied by Ghidorah, just shows how powerful Rodan was, and how much of a threat Ghidorah was to low diff a kaiju like that.
I’m pretty sure any kaiju would have no problem destroying those jets

The ghidorah silhouette reveal was awesome in the theaters. GIANT BRIGHT SCREEN.
Ghidorah absolutely solos and bodied Rodan.
Still one of the best MonsterVerse movies It's a shame it didn't get more attention when it came out this film really suffered from bad word of mouth from idiot critics that don't understand these movies...

It also unfortunately suffered from the release date, that summer was very crowded for big blockbusters
Now that we know Disney payed some critics especially Rotten Tomatoes (which was already obvious back then, but only confirmed the facts), I assume that they participated in that KOTM trashing, especially because of how big of a year 2019 was for them with Captain Marvel, Endgame, Far From Home, and The Rise or Skywalker, all of which grossed over a billion dollars, when KOTM only ended his run at around 300 millions, which is a shame since KOTM is imo way better and more passionate than these movies. Truly peak MonsterVerse for me

@@TheDimeDrawer Pretty sure he didnt, Rodan was present at the end to bow down to Godzilla, and the end credit sequence had a bit that stated that he went to make a new nest somewhere else.

I hope in future MonsterVerse projects we get to see more monster destructions upon their arise/arrival.

And yet....which movie didn't rely on colors filters and had natural lighting? Which movie actually made money?. I love both but both don't own each other. Especially when both suffer from the same writing/pacing issues and cgi issues but for different reasons.
@@Kaiju-bm4ts you cannot compare a movie that have no other challenges with a movie that challenged Marvel Avengers Endgame.
KOTM came out at the similar timing as Endgame and it suffered just because people doesn't know about Kaijuverse and prefer to spend their money watching something that was already established and biggest movie of the year.
GvK and GxK have no such challenges or hurdles.
@@DestinySkycloud Um...I can cause both movies had competition. Kotm going up against endgame doesn't excuse it. Gxk was going up against kung-fu panda and Ghostbusters, both of which are more well known IPs in America and yet gxk still did well. Take into account both movies had marketing that spoiled way too much and gxk somehow still made bucks. Avengers came out at the end of April, kotm came out at the end of May. That's not too different from gxk coming out only a week after Ghostbusters and nearly 3 weeks after kung-fu panda.

3:20 If I remember correctly, the reason Rodan returned to attack Ghidorah despite having tried to flee moments before was because he did not recognize Ghidorah as an alpha.
