Ok I do it based on my parent's advice too. Generally it's spilt into 2 parts. First part picking an auspicious hour, setting up the charcoal stove and walking over it into the house. Second part is after stepping into the house, you need to set up a praying area on the living room floor and pray to 土地公 (earth god), to inform him that you are moving into this area and into this home.
