I feel it’s easy to lose sight of yourself and roots living in America, the supposed “melting pot”, where you can be white Mexican or white black. Especially when there’s a war against our people as we speak. So seeing bands like this and oldies like el Chicano and los Freddy’s and Juan Bataan really brings tears to my eyes. Really allows me to bask in the truly enriched culture I’m blessed to be a part of. VIVA LA RAZA!
