The sky blueish-coloured livery (the toothpaste livery) is the old Air Canada branding, all planes delivered prior to 2017 have the old livery. The new livery was announced for Air Canada's 80th anniversary and Canada's 150th anniversary of Confederation. All retrofitted planes and new deliveries will have the white, red and black livery.
Great video. Looks like the flight I have coming up to Punta Cana is an Air Canada 787-9 at 8:15AM. The Rouge flight will go later. Still cool to fly on either aircraft.
Everyone clapped on our AC flight landing in Barbados. I was pretty confused but it was a really hard landing so maybe people who didn't know much about aviation clapped.
Yes, that might be it as well. Another commentator pointed out that it might be the case due to Punta Cana being a tourist destination. Maybe it's also because of the flight attendant day, idk
I had a bad experience on Rouge; mainly on my return flights from Tampa and Punta Cana. And honestly; I would never do Rouge again even if someone offered me on a dare
I agree. Unlike mainline, if you ask for the full can of soda, they almost always won’t give it to you. Seats are very uncomfortable and poor legroom. Also, they are very expensive. What’s weird is I like Flair, but I hate Rouge. With Flair, you get exactly what you pay for and know what you’re getting into. In conclusion, I will not fly Rouge again. I think I’ll take Porter/ Air Transat partnership next time. However, I’ve never flown Air Transat or Porter’s E2 before.
Hi!! I´m from Argentina and i bought two tickets from Punta Cana To Orlando with a scale at Montreal. Does you recommend Air Canada Rouge? There haven´t got information in spanish and i really aprecited have informacion about de airline. Hug from Argentina and bless you! Gabi
Hi Gabi! Is there any specific thing you want to know? I think if you booked the flight already it makes sense to take it. Just make sure to plan enough time and to check your baggage requirements. Also prepare all your documents carefully and check if you need a transit visa for Canada since there is no airside transit in Toronto as far as I know. Enjoy your trip!😊
Im taking this same flight opposite way this December, the fact that you had a bumpy large portion of the flight made me nervous now. By the way, Dominicans clap every single time they land.

Yes. Thanks for watching!
Personally a huge fan of Rouge.

Have a good flight! I think it really depends on weather/ season.
Nice video.
Thanks🙏👍
Clapping on planes seems to be a tourist thing. Arrive into a tourist destination and the passengers clap.
Actually, that makes sense when I think about it hahahah Same with flights to the Turkish Riviera or Balearic Islands
