    you're right ! willpower comes and goes! yesterday I stopped at an ice-cream shop and had a small cup of vegan ice-cream that was oversweet and not even good 😢!

    You look very chic and elegant Tami, great hair, make-up and frames, you always look well-groomed but not overdone. I don't bake or bring cakes, etc. into the house, they're not worth the risk of falling off track, 4 years WFPB but it's a journey, I'm still working out the best way to eat for health, energy levels and weight. I tend to put on weight very easily and I really have to watch the scales, even beans/legumes, hummus or the odd potato/wholegrain dish make me put on weight immediately. I am very petite and I mostly stick to fruit, salads and soups, all oil-free and unprocessed of course, I always cook from scratch. I would love to eat more wholegrains and legumes but I only have to sniff at something a little higher in calorie density and I put on 5lbs (and feel awful, and don't want to get dressed/exercise/go out for a walk) - it's a vicious circle for me so I'm happy to just stick to fruit for a sweet treat

    My social life does not revolve about parties or communal eating, I don't enjoy them and I avoid them if possible. I'd rather meet friends at a museum or a beautiful park or at a great cafe with a view (but no milky fatty coffee and cake for me, just herbal tea or water)

      Non food events are awesome. Doing an activity seems to be lost on current culture norms!

    I always bring a fresh cut mixed fruit bowl to friend’s homes. Even though the others are having cake most of them will also add the fresh fruit to their dessert plate.

      I have found that to be true as well. Fresh fruit is always a hit!

    Tami you’re the first person I found when I changed to this wholefoods lifestyle two years ago and I have learned so much from you . One of my go to dessert is your recipe for the baked jsp ,bananas and apples along with the spices it’s such a sweet and delicious treat. Thank you Tami and Tom ❤

    For me personally my biggest takeaway from this video is that I can take my own compliant dessert/treat to a party and avoid the temptation of eating a piece of cake or other sweet treats that will be at the party. I can even take it in a cute dish just to make myself feel more excited about having my healthy plant based dessert. Gosh thanks so much for this great idea!

      I agree…I have avoided many morning teas lately so I don’t go off plan but maybe now I am strong enough to take my own and some fruit and still have the experience! Thankyou.

    Love to be reminded of these things! I have found that pears cur into spears and sprinkled with garam masala are a wonderful sweet treat!

      I air fry pears and have them on rice or oatmeal…I love how they caramelise…..
