Easily one of the best RTF starter kits you've reviewed on this channel. I'm impressed that the goggles still have some utility even if you want to purchase a more advanced set to replace them. Only other goggles I know that can do that would be Eachine's EV800D and the FXT Viper. Still not quite as impressive as the Novice IV kit, but this is roughly half the price so that's something to consider. Thanks for the great review as always!
Finally, Emax's tinyhawk III! Its superb that they made the new version in a short period of time! As Tinyhawk II is not that old. Their RTF kits are amazing and the tinyhawks' mass is same as always... Negligible like one is holding a paper! Controller is really beautiful... And the goggles are also mind blowing!!! Never knew that it was that good. Looks really stable indoors... I like these types of drones which are really small amazing cinewhoops, which are durable, that can do impressive and astonishing cool things and also costs not much!
i think this is the best beginner kit shown to date, especially because there is a screen and no need to have a cell phone, just because of that i'd consider it even not being a beginner
I just ordered mine. I had a wonderful time with my Hubsan Zino GPS drone but now it's time to start doing stunt FPV. I could have the drone tomorrow in another store if I want, however one store is closed for 2 weeks and they give 15% discount on all orders while closed. I'm a patient man.
I just ordered one of these, an upgrade from my Makerfire Micro FPV Shark drone. Love that little blue bugger but I think this'll be a great upgrade. Thanks for the review!
Best review I've seen so far for a fpv beginner. If I order it now from banggood. I might get it by spring here in the US. I wish Amazon would have these. Thanks Cap't!!
Love my tinyhawk II.. this seems to have a lil better camera and less kV motors less power & longer flight time.. outside seems the same. Looks tiny bit different. I use my old tinyhawk ii rtf case for x9 lite transmitter and 03o goggles
Love my TH3. The dogs snatched it out of the air a few too many times and the frame is cracked in several places. I like to fly it outdoors in a stiff gusty breeze. It shimmies when the wind kicks up because of the broken frame, but it still flies great. Reminds me of the movie "Batteries Not Included" where the heroic little injured drone was trying to fly. Probably will get another frame for it, but have been looking for something similar in an ARF. I've been watching your beginner videos but you are so enthusiastic, it is hard to make a decision based on your glowing reviews.
So I just got my fix for glasses yesterday. I own the BetaFPV Cetus Lite kit (got it about a week ago) I tried using Armless reading glasses with the Cetus goggles. they sort of worked but after a few minutes they tended (about 50% of the time) to tilt on my nose inside the goggles. sometimes falling off entirely. my fix was to buy a comfort kit for a VR headset (Quest 2) by KIWI. its a padded face pad with glasses extension for VR goggles($19.99). I Duct taped them on. they hold solid. my regular glasses fit inside and the FPV goggles are very comfy. I'm hoping when upgrading to a bigger drone kit (I'm not a serious FPVer so my next kit will probably be the E_MAX EAZY Pilot Pro) that they will fit that as well.
Yup, EMAX wanted to launch this drone today and anyone who received an advanced copy was only permitted to post their reviews all at the same time. Same thing DJI does.
This is awesome! I had to sell all my FPV gear last summer to help start my business. I have been sad ever since, so this will be a great kit to get back into it!

Nice video cap, wow all the brands that make rtf fpv kit is getting more interesting Hey there is a new version of fimi x8 2022 that has 1/2 inch sensor, are you going to review it?

To have your tiny, just hover when you push up on the throttle rather then drift makes learning so much easier. Joshua did a great video on this: ua-cam.com/video/otJNzZrE-yk/v-deo.html

Great video! Would be great to know if this could in fact bind with other drones. Been looking at the beginner kits for a while, but if one can’t “grow” into larger drones, these kits seems a tad limiting.
Yes, it binds to any D8 receiver and I believe Emax will also have it bind to D16 receivers soon. You can also use it with flight sims on your computer to practice your skills.
so I got this drone but the beeper doesn't work and it won't show the battery voltage on the screen it says zero even when I fly is there a way to fix that
If you are a beginner then stick with something you can use in your house as well as outside, and something that you don't mind destroying, because as a newbie, you'll destroy your FPV drone within a day or two unless you have some skills. Another option to consider is the BETAFPV CETUS PRO or CETUS X

Great review bro.
Thanks mate.
Is the controller better than the original white one in the rtf kit?
Thanks again 👍
Yes, much better
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 happy days!
Thanks Captain 😁👍
Thank u
Great video! Would be great to know if this could in fact bind with other drones.
Been looking at the beginner kits for a while, but if one can’t “grow” into larger drones, these kits seems a tad limiting.
Yes, it binds to any D8 receiver and I believe Emax will also have it bind to D16 receivers soon. You can also use it with flight sims on your computer to practice your skills.
Question for you, Captain: Do most FPV radios allow for stick mode 3? As I lefty I've flown mode 3 since I began my drone journey.
I would think YES since most radios can be configured to any Mode both physically and in the radio settings.
Which is better, the tinyhawk 3 or the tinygo 4k?
what's the best antenna upgrade I can get for the googles
drones are hard to find in Australian stores, not sure if its due to the chip shortage or covid related :(
Total flight time and distance? Looks nice
The video flickers and freezes at times as seen, is this how the video recording will playback .
Yes, that is analog FPV. Your brain does not notice it when you fly since you are more concentrating on where you are flying.
i need this.
What do I choose? This or the cetus fpv pro ?
What app do you use for editing?
For your answer, Check directly below my videos. I post for a list of all the gear I use, including editing software.
so I got this drone but the beeper doesn't work and it won't show the battery voltage on the screen it says zero even when I fly is there a way to fix that
If it is brand new, you then need to contact EMAX.
Is this little fpv capable of carrying an Insta or a small cam?
Not really
Are there any more upcoming RTF kit videos? I'm loving them
Yes, two more.
Brilliant 👏
Please review polltar jt drone, its cheap but good camera and stabilizer, cheaper than mavic mini
Can two head sets be used with one drone? I would like to give a tour to several people in real time with a drone. Will TIny Hawk III support that?
Yes. When you fly an Analog FPV drone there is no limit to the number of people that can tune into the signal.
What are your thoughts on the GEPRC TinyGO 4K FPV vs Tinyhawk III FPV Racing Drone?
If you are a beginner then stick with something you can use in your house as well as outside, and something that you don't mind destroying, because as a newbie, you'll destroy your FPV drone within a day or two unless you have some skills. Another option to consider is the BETAFPV CETUS PRO or CETUS X
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thank you! I'm trying to make a gift to my brother. He's flown 2 drones but not a lot. He has crashed both so I'm trying to find something that will take a beating and not cheap quality. He flies outdoors. I'll take a look!
hey cap, are the radio controller and FPV goggles good enough to use in the long term? For example if I buy a new drone will they bind to it?
Yes as long as:
- the drone has analog video
- the receiver is a D8 or D16 FRSKY
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 thanks a bunch!
