The small Mexican town of Paracho is one of the biggest artisan guitar hubs in the world. Guitar-makers, or lauderos, in Paracho can spend months or even years working on handmade instruments that cost upwards of $5,500 apiece.
The town recently attracted attention when a guitar designed by a Paracho native appeared in the Pixar film "Coco."

Thanks for the information since I need to get a guitar👍
Love Paracho! I’ve bought some great guitarras there! BTW it may make years for someone to finish a guitar. It does not tale a year to build it.
