Ghost had a decent campaign, good multiplayer, incredible miltiplayer modes like Infested which had actual balancing, a cool take on an alternate game mode with the Alien Infestation... we never knew how good we had it until it was over

I actually always loved this game. When it first came out people were dogging it, i decided i would make my own decision so I bought the game. And I personally loved it. I had all the snipers golded, this was honestly the only call of duty I grinded.
Got ts for my 10th birthday back in 2014. The nostalgia i get from the music and just the overall atmosphere of the game is indescribable. The campaign for this game is also top 3 in the series imo.

I still hold to this day that the Ghosts multiplayer would be considered great if it had better maps and killstreaks. I've always felt like the connection with the lobbys rarely lagged or had a bad connection, the guns were good, the hitreg was great and the TTK was exactly where it should've been. It also always felt unique to me. You could lean, interact with the environment on some maps, and it had a unique perk system based off of points and not a strict 3 slot system. If the perks weren't underwhelming and the maps were better designed (and some of them not be so massive), I think it would be remembered more fondly. I also liked the built in clan system the game had, that let you track your clan's rank and earn rewards for ranking up on the clan-based leaderboard. I think the game did a lot of good new stuff that they abandoned because the game just wasn't well received. The campaign was bad and Extinction was underwhelming, but MP had good potential. I heard the DLCs had some good maps, but I never found out because I didn't want to buy the Season Pass after how bad the base game maps were.

But they should also have one against using the M27-IAR but I’ll take the anti camper one. Most people just leave the game if someone starts camping. Glad to see they’re still playing. Ghosts was a fun mix up, but I would’ve liked MW3’s spec ops with survival alongside the one with those aliens. Would’ve helped give some variety.
This is my favorite cod and always will be, me playing it as a 12 year old kid with my buddies all night probably has something to do with that but I think it was a great game. It had its weak parts like every game but I’ll never understand why everyone hated it so much. I have found others who love this game as well and it seems we agree on all the cods. MW 19 was the best overall cod and BOCW was a dumpster fire. Most people who enjoy ghosts will agree with me on that. Either way, regardless of what most people say, ghosts will always be a great game in my book. Goat campaign as well. And was kinda the starting point for good customization. Appreciate the video. I was really critical of this game when it first dropped, but looking back, it was actually pretty solid and a lot of fun. I loved running the Honey-Badger, and the dynamic maps were pretty neat too. Edit: It's amusing to look back and recall the feelings from this game. I remember the Xbox One was released around the same time, and I went out to buy both. When I got home, I was completely enamored with how amazing the graphics were. Lol

The fast TTK means you can pop off rlly good or die rlly quick. Having both high kill streaks and high death streaks are common (even in the same game).

Cod Ghosts gets way too much hate! This game had the best perk system, powerful guns and good hit detection! Some of the maps were pretty bad but this game is a masterpiece compared to AW and IW. Along with all the cods 2019 and after! MW3 is playable at least.

This was absolutely one of the best Call of Duty’s ever made. People who hated it weren’t good at it. That’s why they hated it. This game started so many things that we consider a must in video games now. This game literally started peaking behind walls, sliding, customizing of your personal character, mounting, and much more. The game mechanics were awesome. Also I love the campaign story, how Latin America could become a super power and fight us, entirely possible and this game created a new enemy instead of using real enemies in real life and recycling them from new game to new game. Honestly Top 5 Call Of Duty for me.
Ghosts is better than pretty much everything that came after it, but the haters have some valid points. Black Ops 2 was the last CoD in the golden age. Ghosts was good but also a clear sign that the golden age ended. Maps were pretty bad and killstreaks were terrible. Guns were pretty fun and the hit detection was the best since MW2 2009, but it wasn’t enough to hook me on the game the way MW2-BO2 did, or CoD 4 and WaW for that matter. And no, I wasn’t bad at Ghosts. In fact, Ghosts was my best CoD game, stat-wise. I finally broke into the 2 KD club and felt confident in pretty much every match. But it lacked the X factor that the golden age CoDs had. However, I ultimately still remember Ghosts somewhat fondly as it was the last CoD I played for any significant amount of time.

I always like ghosts even at launch. It was obviously not as good as black ops 2 but when I heard everyone complaining I knew that there’d never be another black ops 2 and that ghosts was still pretty good. It was certainly much of a slower game which frustrated me but I loved it for more competitive play, especially game modes like S&D
those people camping with the M27 are the absolute bane of my existence. this game came out when i was 13 so i was young and cracked out being used to BO2 and just wanted to run around as fast as i could, but it seriously felt like i couldn’t take 4 steps in this game without getting killed by a guy camping in a corner with a thermal M27

I feel like this game was like a prototype of MW2019. They had decent ideas, but they just weren’t implemented well. Sliding was introduced, but it was really rough and not very useful, leaning just promoted camping, and the TTK was just way too fast. Also, easily had the worst set of maps at launch. It didn’t help that there were just dumb ideas that were thrown in like getting rid of the UAV, no anti air launchers, literal wall hacks as a support streak, IEDs, and footsteps being way too loud. I got to master prestige in this game because I had friends to play it with, but it just was not a good game. DLC was pretty fire though, but that’s it lol.
As it stands we gave this game shot but going back to it now it was fun and was one of the first cod games I took comp plat seriously on. Still remember unlocking all the clan outfits

I think people should look at each CoD as its own seperate experiance. Trying to compare each game in series to your favorite is going to be hard on you as a fan. Of course, no CoD coming out in the future will be better than your favorite. Some are better than others of course, but no one keeps an open mind anymore with games, and that usually results in negativity. I quite enjoyed Ghosts, even if the multiplayer was a little slow.
I never followed the hate train. I love ghost and it will always be my favorite matched with mw3. It made me a great competitive player for a 11 year old at-least. I do believe it was the best game that was tailor made for the MLG
1 week after release I paid some guy £20 from Afghanistan that I found at the top of the leaderboard for all perks and the mini gun as my secondary on all soldiers. I was going nuts for 3 months until it got hot fixed then I never played the game again.
Ghosts was always good multiplayer. Excluding COD4 it was the best one and I will defend that. The progression, the weapons, the perk selections - it's just the best one.
The maps were huge felt like ground war maps so 80% of the player base camped all year, TTK was the fastest in CoD history at the time, visibility was an issue since all the maps were the same color so most used thermal scopes, etc. These are a few of the reasons I stopped playing COD Ghost.

Honey Badger was the best starting weapon in any COD. Having a silenced weapon from the jump was a godsend.

i remember my mom pre ordered ghosts for me i loved it as a kid, to this day i never understood the hate.
The camping was horrendous, the ied spam, ttk, and thats not even half of it.

Ghost had a decent campaign, good multiplayer, incredible miltiplayer modes like Infested which had actual balancing, a cool take on an alternate game mode with the Alien Infestation... we never knew how good we had it until it was over
Fucked up how Ghosts is regarded as a bad CoD game by a lot of people when it's considerably better than most of the actual slop CoD games we've been fed over the last like 9 years.

I actually always loved this game. When it first came out people were dogging it, i decided i would make my own decision so I bought the game. And I personally loved it. I had all the snipers golded, this was honestly the only call of duty I grinded.
Got ts for my 10th birthday back in 2014. The nostalgia i get from the music and just the overall atmosphere of the game is indescribable. The campaign for this game is also top 3 in the series imo.

I still hold to this day that the Ghosts multiplayer would be considered great if it had better maps and killstreaks. I've always felt like the connection with the lobbys rarely lagged or had a bad connection, the guns were good, the hitreg was great and the TTK was exactly where it should've been. It also always felt unique to me. You could lean, interact with the environment on some maps, and it had a unique perk system based off of points and not a strict 3 slot system. If the perks weren't underwhelming and the maps were better designed (and some of them not be so massive), I think it would be remembered more fondly. I also liked the built in clan system the game had, that let you track your clan's rank and earn rewards for ranking up on the clan-based leaderboard. I think the game did a lot of good new stuff that they abandoned because the game just wasn't well received. The campaign was bad and Extinction was underwhelming, but MP had good potential. I heard the DLCs had some good maps, but I never found out because I didn't want to buy the Season Pass after how bad the base game maps were.
The DLC does have better maps and some returning/remade MW maps too like Favela and Dome (Unearthed in Ghosts)

I go in and out of Call of Duty depending on the year, whether i like the game or not. I never played BO2, Ghosts was the first one i got as a kid. This game gave me some of best memories ill ever have again on any video game and made me the player i am today. THANK YOU FOR THIS NOSTALGIA.

Best of luck. I still play on PS3 sometimes. Thankfully most people seem to have a gentleman’s agreement to not camp. But they should also have one against using the M27-IAR but I’ll take the anti camper one. Most people just leave the game if someone starts camping. Glad to see they’re still playing. Ghosts was a fun mix up, but I would’ve liked MW3’s spec ops with survival alongside the one with those aliens. Would’ve helped give some variety.
This is my favorite cod and always will be, me playing it as a 12 year old kid with my buddies all night probably has something to do with that but I think it was a great game. It had its weak parts like every game but I’ll never understand why everyone hated it so much. I have found others who love this game as well and it seems we agree on all the cods. MW 19 was the best overall cod and BOCW was a dumpster fire. Most people who enjoy ghosts will agree with me on that. Either way, regardless of what most people say, ghosts will always be a great game in my book. Goat campaign as well. And was kinda the starting point for good customization. Appreciate the video. I could watch other playing cod ghosts for hours on end.

I was really critical of this game when it first dropped, but looking back, it was actually pretty solid and a lot of fun. I loved running the Honey-Badger, and the dynamic maps were pretty neat too.
Edit: It's amusing to look back and recall the feelings from this game. I remember the Xbox One was released around the same time, and I went out to buy both. When I got home, I was completely enamored with how amazing the graphics were. Lol

Running stealth smg and learning the map flow in this game is the way 2 go. Otherwise campers ruin ur day. The fast TTK means you can pop off rlly good or die rlly quick. Having both high kill streaks and high death streaks are common (even in the same game).

Cod Ghosts gets way too much hate! This game had the best perk system, powerful guns and good hit detection! Some of the maps were pretty bad but this game is a masterpiece compared to AW and IW. Along with all the cods 2019 and after! MW3 is playable at least.
It's really funny to look back and see how spoiled we were back then, like when we got a game that was a bit below standards back then we complained. And now we go back to some of these games to realize they aren't that bad

This was absolutely one of the best Call of Duty’s ever made. People who hated it weren’t good at it. That’s why they hated it. This game started so many things that we consider a must in video games now. This game literally started peaking behind walls, sliding, customizing of your personal character, mounting, and much more. The game mechanics were awesome. Also I love the campaign story, how Latin America could become a super power and fight us, entirely possible and this game created a new enemy instead of using real enemies in real life and recycling them from new game to new game. Honestly Top 5 Call Of Duty for me.
Ghosts is better than pretty much everything that came after it, but the haters have some valid points. Black Ops 2 was the last CoD in the golden age. Ghosts was good but also a clear sign that the golden age ended. Maps were pretty bad and killstreaks were terrible. Guns were pretty fun and the hit detection was the best since MW2 2009, but it wasn’t enough to hook me on the game the way MW2-BO2 did, or CoD 4 and WaW for that matter. And no, I wasn’t bad at Ghosts. In fact, Ghosts was my best CoD game, stat-wise. I finally broke into the 2 KD club and felt confident in pretty much every match. But it lacked the X factor that the golden age CoDs had. However, I ultimately still remember Ghosts somewhat fondly as it was the last CoD I played for any significant amount of time.

I think it’s one of the best, great guns, and the bots can play in ANY game mode, so that’s a massive improvement from the other games where you can just play tdm with them

I always like ghosts even at launch. It was obviously not as good as black ops 2 but when I heard everyone complaining I knew that there’d never be another black ops 2 and that ghosts was still pretty good. It was certainly much of a slower game which frustrated me but I loved it for more competitive play, especially game modes like S&D
those people camping with the M27 are the absolute bane of my existence. this game came out when i was 13 so i was young and cracked out being used to BO2 and just wanted to run around as fast as i could, but it seriously felt like i couldn’t take 4 steps in this game without getting killed by a guy camping in a corner with a thermal M27

I feel like this game was like a prototype of MW2019. They had decent ideas, but they just weren’t implemented well. Sliding was introduced, but it was really rough and not very useful, leaning just promoted camping, and the TTK was just way too fast. Also, easily had the worst set of maps at launch. It didn’t help that there were just dumb ideas that were thrown in like getting rid of the UAV, no anti air launchers, literal wall hacks as a support streak, IEDs, and footsteps being way too loud. I got to master prestige in this game because I had friends to play it with, but it just was not a good game. DLC was pretty fire though, but that’s it lol.
As it stands we gave this game shot but going back to it now it was fun and was one of the first cod games I took comp plat seriously on. Still remember unlocking all the clan outfits

I think people should look at each CoD as its own seperate experiance. Trying to compare each game in series to your favorite is going to be hard on you as a fan. Of course, no CoD coming out in the future will be better than your favorite. Some are better than others of course, but no one keeps an open mind anymore with games, and that usually results in negativity. I quite enjoyed Ghosts, even if the multiplayer was a little slow.

This was my first full cod that i ever played to max level and it will always be where my devastation began
1 week after release I paid some guy £20 from Afghanistan that I found at the top of the leaderboard for all perks and the mini gun as my secondary on all soldiers. I was going nuts for 3 months until it got hot fixed then I never played the game again.

Ghosts was always good multiplayer. Excluding COD4 it was the best one and I will defend that. The progression, the weapons, the perk selections - it's just the best one.
The maps were huge felt like ground war maps so 80% of the player base camped all year, TTK was the fastest in CoD history at the time, visibility was an issue since all the maps were the same color so most used thermal scopes, etc. These are a few of the reasons I stopped playing COD Ghost.

Ghost was one of the greatest Competitive games in the entire franchise, wasn’t a huge fan of Pubs because most of the maps that weren’t in comp were dog water, but I absolutely loved the comp game mode
