hello thank you for your videos hopefully you can help me I have a 2017 kia forte5 ex with what i believe is a A6GF1-2 transmission. I pulled the valve body and I'm trying to measure the solenoids resistance to test them but I can't find info as to what they are and what the read should be. What solenoids do what. The issues I had where with 4th and some times 6th both only if going up a mountain. the trans on the inside is completely new looking all the screens on the solenoids very clean. any advise or links to diagrams or thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you for your time
Hi my friend my name is Ysrael, I have a kia sorento 2005 my transmission slipping I have been seeing your videos they help me a lot thank you, U need to buy the input turbine speed sensor and solenoid set could you help me to find the input turbine speed sensor?
Can you possibly tell me why my 2012 Kia Sportage is stuck in 3rd gear l believe it is. It shifts normal if l use sport mode and shift it manually. Thanks
Hello brother I have a 2007 spectra EX periodically when I drive the car it just feels like it shifts like a standard transmission we need to punch the clutch and release it what could the problem be? It happens real fast and it’s gone. It’s weird for sure. Hopefully it’s nothing bad. Waiting to hear from you
If resistance is within spec and you want to save cost why not just clean instead of purchasing a whole new solenoid kit. Typically solenoid screens get dirty more often then they fail. Unless the car was still driven with clogged solenoids and dirty fluid then it could burn them out. All they are is a electronically controlled rod that opens and closes to allow flow and or pressure. They can be tested.

good job!! make sure the liquid dont touch the electrical connectors( put dry paper to avoid that).

Can I use sea foam trans tune? Will that be safe and do the same trick?

Hi please what is the difference between black and brown valve body solenoid harness
Basically one will control pressure and other will control flow to which gear to activate.

Hey there bro i like ur work on the kia models i think i need to be in contact with ya
Have an emai??
Very nice
The mechanics here in canberra Australia refuse to touch my gearbox when I mention about solenoid cleaning or issue.
polarity DOES matter for any solenoid
Why would you take it apart to clean it. That's dum just buy new ones no more problems
Is it?
New ones cost much more. Math is hard.
