Thanks for the video. I have a caddy. I don’t have the space for a leisure battery. Would these lights be safe to jump off the old interior light. Obviously I know it will drain if left on for ages. Thanks again
After I've wired in the Sargent EC-160 power control unit I'll do a feedback on how all the electrics work including the split and leisure battery - Hope that helps! ;)
You don’t show connecting the wire into a switch which is the part I really wanted to see... trying to fit these lights into my T4 and can’t work out if I can just use existing wiring in the back of my van or have to run new stuff in
I will have a split charger system fitted with leisure battery, the arctic cable for 240v but no control panel yet, how would I wire up the 12V led lights sockets and switches directly to the leisure battery? TIA
Would of been good if you'd shown the lights working at night so one could work out of its enough or to much light for the van. Are these the lights with dimmers?
Great vid mate.....I've just bought the same lights off fleabay with dimmer.Question for you as I want to connect them to the leisure battery......what fuse size should I be using for these? or what size would you suggest? Cheers Andy
Your van looks so much better than before
Thanks, I think so too! :)

Alright m8? I'm just fitting the same lights in my van! Are the wires ok sitting behind the ply as they are, no over heating ?

I would say maybe a tad too bright, these are cool white rather than warm white so quite a cold clinical light. No dimmers.
@@GDUBTV ok thanks, I'm definitely getting the ones with a dimmer switch to give me options. Cheers.
Thanks for the vid! I am wanting to swap the interior vw lights for 2 spots , do you know how to wire it or where I could find info for this?
Cheers 🥂
Gotta use a vacuum when drilling, protect your pride and joy! Keep up the good work though 👏🏻
Too true, I've just not got enough hands to film myself, do the job and also use a hoover! lol
Has anyone used the existing wires that power the factory standard lights for these led lights please?
If you've still got the connectors in the roof its easy enough mate
@@GDUBTV how would I do it please?
Hi, just checking on the ceiling lights you fitted in the vid, are they a drain on your van battery ?? I.e wired up or in cig lighter. ? Thanks
They’re connected to the leisure battery, no drain on the vehicle battery 🔋
Thanks for replying. Sorry I meant to say if you didn’t have leisure batt set up do they drain a lot from your van battery? Thankyou 👍
You haven’t explained where u have ran the cabling and what into?
This video should help: ua-cam.com/video/qw6gcF7owb4/v-deo.html
