Nice video. I have a splicer that no longer cuts the film on the right side. All it does is bend the film at a 90 degree angle. Is there anything I can do to fix it. I bought the kit, Craig Projector Editor KE16, on Ebay and its too late to return it. Also the scraper is not doing the job either, it only gets some of the emulsion off. I think the flat area was worn down. Can I sharpen the scraper and the cutter? Or adjust the cutter by moving it over? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for the extremely detailed demo. I take it you prefer glued splices the over tape splices, as with using Kodak presstape pre-cut splices. The issue I have with glued splices is that it seems it sacrifices one frame of film for the splice. Do you find that scraped frame to be noticeable as it goes by in the projector? I recently found a Minette Super 8 splicer in a thrift store and would love to try it out. Do you have a good source for glue?
i have a question.,. i have a problem and is i have a splicer but i have no glue, do you know any other product or glue that i can use to glue film? Thanks
Nunca había visto hacer estos trabajos , gracias por compartir tus experiencias.
Is the cement process better than tape splicing?
Kodak's film cement can still be found on Ebay, even new.
Thank you, so useful !
What is the model number of this splicer? Apparently Minette made more than one model?
Thank you Sir!👍
this is amazing.
