In grade 12 music, for our playing exam, my music teacher told us we could play any song we wished, this is the track I did for my exam. I did not do anywhere as good as your cover. This is an amazing cover and I love the touch of the Steinberger. Thanks for showing us how it's played. Cheers

Oh man! After I got rid of my 4001 about 87 wanted a Steinberger so bad! They were like $1500 so I bought a Washburn copy, black headless. So much fun to play live, as I was always afraid to turn and hit the cymbal with the Rick, plus it was so top heavy.
Your extra fills are awesome, just lime Geddy in the later years.

Another great video, this type of content is awesome and inspiring. In fact, this channel is a big inspiration to get myself into bass guitar. I have a sire v3 second generation jazz style bass guitar, it’s awesome for a whole pile of genres. The only issue I have with it is it has fret buzz on some of the frets. I always thought that bass was a more easier version of guitar, since you don’t have to play chords. Later on, I realized you can do a lot more stuff on bass guitar, like pop and slap technique, Geddy Lee’s technique, finger style, etc. what an awesome channel!

He recorded the Grace Under Pressure album with it (why he didn't use the Rickenbacker I've no idea) also played it on the tour and then also played it live during the following Power Windows tour despite recording that album with a Wal. Geddy said he liked the light weight and could move around the stage without accidentally knocking into a mic stand with the lack of a head stock.
He mentioned in an interview only using it for the Grace Under Pressure era and not liking it much anymore but he clearly forgot that he kept using it for Power Windows live as well and also had it as his backup bass during the HYF and Presto tours if his Wal broke mid-concert. There's a UA-cam clip I saw awhile back with him playing a white Steinberger L2 on Closer To The Heart during the Presto tour. It's arguably the most rare least seen bass guitar he ever had in his collection
