With the shitload of bands all sounding the same and and ripping every band off, at least this band ripped off a good band. In most circumstances I’d be one bashing these dudes. Can I blame them? Nope. The Arghoslent guitarists are so damn good and inspiring how could anyone NOT want to play like them? As much as I love Arghoslent and have been a everyday/all day listener for over 15 years, and even though this band literally rips them off all to hell, even down to the same riffs, multiple times in all their songs I still can get down to this shit. The riffs are great. Some of the freshest shit I’ve heard in years. The Major difference and I think the only different from these dudes and ARGHOSLENT is the brutality and heaviness. Arghoslent makes killer riffs and they are heavy as fuck. These riffs are killer too but it’s very upbeat and over melodic at times while Arghoslent does introduce Melodie’s and shit it’s not overdone. Overall. My opinion. Good album. I haven’t came back to an album to listen to multiple times in YEARS.

I hate that I enjoy another Arghoclone band after House of Atreus, but this band is pretty good. Ends up being more straight up melodeath like the first Insomnium album or old In Flames than Arghoslent, more sugary and less chromatic, but that is not a bad thing.

It’s sarcasm what the poster said about being influenced by nobody. It’s extremely clear who this band is trying to emulate. And for you to say you can’t find anything that sounds like arghoslent? There is countless parts in their music where they straight highjack arghoslent riffs damn near note for note.
Imo, this is not that similar to Arghoslent but more like Be'lakor or some other more recent bands. I say this because Arghoslent actually have a lot of sinister riffs and don't play just melodic stuff.

I talk to him fairly regularly. He actually didn't say much bad about it to be honest. He agrees its obviously a copy (anyone who knows the band knows that) but I don't think he's ever really taken the time to sit and listen/read the lyrics etc. Not knowing much about it except for the obvious copy of sound, cover art etc he wasn't sure if should take it as disrespect or as a compliment. At least we can see from the comments everyone knows the deal though.
