I've been a fan of his since I first saw Bill and Ted when I was a kid and always knew he would make it big. What I didn't expect was how consistent of an actor and a human being he would be and remain this entire time. What a gem. I absolutely love this man
Ever since Bill and Ted. I was hooked. He is someone incredible across the board. He's one of those people you have to treat like a rare elusive animal see them in society you take it in you breathe deep you become overwhelmed with Glee and happiness but you let them go and give him his space because he deserves that.
He's an amazing person but I wouldn't say he's a consistent actor, in fact I'd say it's the opposite - he fluctuates from flat, inert and tonally jarring performances like "The Lake House", "The Day the Earth Stood Still", "Bram Stoker's Dracula", "Johnny Mnemonic", "Feeling Minnesota", "Knock Knock" and the "Matrix" sequels, to brilliant and subtle performances like the original "Matrix", "A Scanner Darkly", "River's Edge", "Constantine", "The Gift", "Permanent Record", "Thumbsucker", "A Walk in the Clouds" and my personal favourite "My Own Private Idaho". It's entirely possible that his "bad" roles are due to poor direction though, as is often the case with great actors who seem to occasionally lose their mojo, so to speak.
I love this man. Keanu is the nicest man there is, he is so kind, so caring, so understanding and so thoughtful. How can one person think in the way he does, the things he says when in an interview and of course in life. Keanu has had a hard life but he seems able to look forward and live his life in a way that I hope makes him so very settled and happy. How I would love to meet him and be able to look to this man and to listen to that voice of his. I hope life is kind to you and I send my love to you, keep safe.

Some people undergo more suffering in life… maybe sad isn’t exactly right though…. I think sober is more correct. Not in terms of chemical influence, but in terms of seeing life through a more serious and deep lens instead of lighthearted and silly due to undergoing strong emotions from heavy loss. But at the same time we shouldn’t stigmatize sadness as if it’s shameful to be sad. Sad is a normal emotion when we’ve experienced suffering.

My son was a toddler when Bill and Ted's excellent adventure came out. I was Bill and my son was Ted. We watched it a thousand times if we watched it once. He was diagnosed with autism at the age of three and there were a handful of movies that we watched over and over again. He turned out to be a great guy and overcame the difficulties and stigma of being Autistic. He lives on his own two feet and has a bachelor of science degree from a Christian college. This man is vastly underrated; not only a great actor but perhaps the finest human being I have not had the honor of meeting. I met Keanu when I was 18 or 19 years old. He was young then also. It was at a premier for his first Bill and Ted movie. He had like a meet and greet outside after the movie. He was very nice and sweet even then. Very protective of the females there and the females that were being pushed around by other girls.

Keanu has been one my favorite actors of all times. From this video I can tell you that I've seen about 95% of the movies mentioned. Out of them my favorites are Dracula, Speed, A Walk In the Clouds, The Devil's Advocate and of course The Matrix. With Keanu is not so much the type of movie he makes but his personality in it. I like seeing HIM...I just love the guy! I love seeing him have a connection to his co-star. I can feel the Love...watching him has always made me feel good. 🥰

I wish they would give him more variety in his roles so he could really get the most out of his craft and we could too. I would definitely like to see him challenged more as an actor in that way and see him in many different roles. I know he is capable, unfortunately, just haven't seen him challenged in that way. He had help from his step father who was involved with films, movies. So he had a big connection. For most actors it takes a long time, auditions etc. So he had a foot in the door. He turned out to be a great actor in the end but if he didnt get the foot in the door from his stepdad he may not have made it

He's an amazing person but I wouldn't say he's a consistent actor, in fact I'd say it's the opposite - he fluctuates from flat, inert and tonally jarring performances like "The Lake House", "The Day the Earth Stood Still", "Bram Stoker's Dracula", "Johnny Mnemonic", "Feeling Minnesota", "Knock Knock" and the "Matrix" sequels, to brilliant and subtle performances like the original "Matrix", "A Scanner Darkly", "River's Edge", "Constantine", "The Gift", "Permanent Record", "Thumbsucker", "A Walk in the Clouds" and my personal favourite "My Own Private Idaho". It's entirely possible that his "bad" roles are due to poor direction though, as is often the case with great actors who seem to occasionally lose their mojo, so to speak.
I love this man. Keanu is the nicest man there is, he is so kind, so caring, so understanding and so thoughtful. How can one person think in the way he does, the things he says when in an interview and of course in life. Keanu has had a hard life but he seems able to look forward and live his life in a way that I hope makes him so very settled and happy. How I would love to meet him and be able to look to this man and to listen to that voice of his. I hope life is kind to you and I send my love to you, keep safe.

Not in terms of chemical influence, but in terms of seeing life through a more serious and deep lens instead of lighthearted and silly due to undergoing strong emotions from heavy loss. But at the same time we shouldn’t stigmatize sadness as if it’s shameful to be sad. Sad is a normal emotion when we’ve experienced suffering.

My son was a toddler when Bill and Ted's excellent adventure came out. I was Bill and my son was Ted. We watched it a thousand times if we watched it once. He was diagnosed with autism at the age of three and there were a handful of movies that we watched over and over again. He turned out to be a great guy and overcame the difficulties and stigma of being Autistic. He lives on his own two feet and has a bachelor of science degree from a Christian college.

I met Keanu when I was 18 or 19 years old. He was young then also. It was at a premier for his first Bill and Ted movie. He had like a meet and greet outside after the movie. He was very nice and sweet even then. Very protective of the females there and the females that were being pushed around by other girls.

Out of them my favorites are Dracula, Speed, A Walk In the Clouds, The Devil's Advocate and of course The Matrix. With Keanu is not so much the type of movie he makes but his personality in it. Being an empath it's easy to recognize a kindred spirit. The beauty in this person doesn't come from the outside package, although it's nice.
His beauty comes from just giving and selfless heart and his willingness to be humble in a selfish world. He is MAGNIFICENT. And has worked very hard to be where he is. I have a great deal of resepct for him. The Day the Earth Stood Still, Devil's Advocate and the Matrix series are my favorites. I wish they would give him more variety in his roles so he could really get the most out of his craft and we could too. I would definitely like to see him challenged more as an actor in that way and see him in many different roles. I know he is capable, unfortunately, just haven't seen him challenged in that way. Fortunately, he's got many, many more years to do so. Hopefully, the producers, writers, and directors will come up with some movies worthy of doing this for him.

He did turn out to be good, but it's amazing that he survived so many badly reviewed films yet still got offered roles. If my CV (Reume if you're American) had so many failures I doubt that I'd get many job offers.
Most actors do hundreds of films but you only hear about the good ones.
He had help from his step father who was involved with films, movies. So he had a big connection. For most actors it takes a long time, auditions etc. So he had a foot in the door. He turned out to be a great actor in the end but if he didnt get the foot in the door from his stepdad he may not have made it
The first three in the Matrix series and all three John Wick movies are my favorite Keanu Reeves movies.

Thank you for this accurate interpretation of Keanu's life. He's mysterious and humble, unlike the "typical" Hollywood A-lister, he carries himself like a human being... not like the elitists pictured on the covers of tabloids regularly dining at Nobu and far to good for us peasants to be amongst us in the real world. He has always been a soft spoken hippie spirit who seems to be a real human being. I've always loved that about him. You're a great documentary biographer. It's fascinating to hear how TRULY alike the big names of Hollywood really are to us "regular" folk. Certain ppl in Hollywood, like Keanu, Johnny Depp, and many others never forgot where they came from. It's refreshing.

Being 3 years younger than the man, I have never took any interest in him nor his career as an actor. However! Every time I hear about the man outside of his upcoming movies, I hear of his good deeds and good nature. I couldn't ask anything more of a fellow human being and therefore wish him MUCH success and happiness in his life!

BLEHHHHH I teared TF up when Keanu briefly got emotional and kisses the photo that included River. What a beautiful friendship. River has always been one of my favorite actors ("stand by me" got me into him) and its clear that Keanu is stilI broken up over his death and cherishes the memories. I so wish River had lived. He had an entire LIFETIME of art inside of him (musically and cinematically) that we will never get to see. I love Keanu so much and am glad he's still with us.
