Spurs fan here. You were a great team and a top coach. Hope you stay up ! Quality club.
Gave it everything Luton, we can’t ask for more!!
Rob, you seem so down; absolutely no need for that. We all knew it was going to be a tough ask but we have won a lot of friends along the way and certainly have not rolled over. You have done an amazing job with what you had available to you. COYH!!!!
Rob Edward’s you and your team have done a excellent job thank you from New Zealand
Luton have every chance of staying up if they beat Bournemouth, Brentford, Everton and Fulham at home, and lose every other game.
Though not impossible, still a very tough ask.
The next two away games at Arsenal and City are not the one’s that will define Luton’s season.
They wont beat them all at home. They couldnt beat Burnley or Sheff Utd at home.
@@trevorwilson2966 True. To survive they may need to get something at Wolves and WHU. If WHU are still involved in the Europa League that could work in Luton’s favour.
Well said, time to pick our battles and be smart in the business end of the season. RE showing his inexperience right now at this level you have to be decisive and shrewd.
No complaints. I had little expectations going into this match with the injury crisis, yet Luton continue to make teams earn their victories. It's sickening to take another late defeat, but the workrate and effort from top to bottom has been fantastic all season. Likely facing relegation, but Edwards and the players can all be proud of themselves whatever happens now.
Even as a Tottenham supporter I needed Luton to win today. My Luton born Dad wont have many more chances to see them in the top flight...where they should be
...even if they stay up.
Up the Hatters! God bless Gordon Turner!
Rob is spot on with his interview as always.
The players and all at the club can again hold their heads high.
Come the end Luton were unlucky not to see it out for the draw. Both Tottenham goals were unfortunate, with the deflection and Kabore not being able to adjust in time.
Here's to hoping that we can make the spurs fans proud of us too in the next game at the Emirates 🤞 #COYH
It’s really good to see Luton blend experience with youth.barkley and Andros good buys.give opponents a tough time like us today.good luck with rest season!Spurs fan cheering you on
This manager and his team are real warriors. I admit that I’m a Spurs fan and we needed this win, but kinda sorry that it came at the expense of this courageous Luton team. I caught his post match interview on another channel and jeez, the stuff you have dealt with already is amazing. Best of luck for rest of the season and I know you’ll stay strong! 🤍
We need to stay out of relegation. That felt like a better performance than we’ve recently had. However if we keep slipping like this we will be back to the championship. I know we’re missing key players but that can’t stop us 🧡🎩
Unfortunately it will stop us. We just have to give it our all every game and hopefully points will show up here and there
Keep going, lads, hopefully we will get a break with our injuries and be able to field a team capable of picking up enough points to stay up. COYH🎩❤️
Can't be too down with the result the team today gave it everything and a great effort from all the lads , still a bit iffy at the back at times but were fighting in the biggest league in the world with half a squad just like last season but we move on COYH ! We are the famous Luton town
Not a good start with defeat to Tottenham Hotspurs today difficult afternoon so proud with the boys today.. hopefully will need to to more better next time if we got a chances!!!
Just need to be better, not more better innit.
Luton had 8 first team regulars out injured, the team we put out probably cost about 9 million in total, with some players who were with us in non-league and league 2, yet still Spurs needed us to score an own goal to beat us. Incredible performance from Luton.
This chap seems like a really good British manager, hope he goes on to good things...hopefully with Luton.... I think most PL fans second team at the moment, they play proper football...
Rob Edwards needs to use young players from the Luton Academy. Alfie Doughty needs to take shots at goal outside the penalty box along with Jordan Clark and Ross Barkley.
Really hard but once again the lads gave their all. Unlucky not to get a point. But the ball watching has to stop. Mengi has his work cut out defending and keep his eyes on Alfie and Hashi dropping so deep at times. Hopefully some of our injuries will return for our home games. Tough away games with Arsenal and City next up. COYH
LUTON NOT MADE FOR PRESSURE , THEY WILL BE RELEGATED UNFORTUNATELY 😢
❤❤❤❤❤❤
y'all need to keep a solid low block.
Shouldn't of committed everyone to that corner, defend for 10 mins than a point
Week in, week out giving the ball away! Would hurt any side? 🙈
Beard needs a trim Rob! We’ve got this 👊🏻
Beat arsenal on Wednesday pleaseeee
We need to stop conceding in the second half and build on the first half performance
We go again, simple as, three wins we stay up, who is to say that there isnt a shock waiting for Arsenal, it took them 97 minutes and a disputed free kick to beat us last time.
Bigger shocks have happened in football, but realistically Arsenal are winning tonight. The home games against Fulham, Everton, Brentford and Bournemouth are gonna be the make of break.
Rob.
Why are we pressing high away to spurs (or Liverpool, or Bournemouth when we're 3-0 up. Let them have the ball. Man Mark the midfielders and try to stop them creating chances. They could have scored 10. We have the perfect players to counter attack so please try to stop them having waves of attacks. Its been a great ride and we've loved every minute. But why go man for man across the back when we are winning a game against a top 6 side away from home. The tactics are stupid. Please have a rethink.
Morris on his own again up front we are sorely missing Elijah .But please shore up the defense again we lose from being in front .Learn to shut up shop. All that effort from the players magnificent but poor tactically yet again.
Shore the defense up with who?
It was tactical brilliance that kept a massively depleted side in the game against top opposition for 86 minutes. You have no clue.
But your defensive tactics aren't giving us a platform to win games because we are so open. No matter what players we put out we gave some great attacking players that can cause teams problems. Our recruitment has been amazing and we are a joy to watch. But give us a chance and be better at stopping the opposition. Why not ask Barkley to man mark maddison and prove that he can do that side of the game. That might get him in the England squad if he showed he could do that. Neither Ross or Alfie will get near the England squad unless they show they can play well in a defensive system and we just don't have that
whish the best to Luton Town
Two points dropped
Luton was luck to lose the game 2-1. It should have been 3-1 as Son hit the goal post twice unluckily.
I feel sorry for Rob.If he had some non League one players i think he would do well, minus Ross Barkley.
Down down deeper ..and down 😂
Bye bye Let's hope we get the new stadium next year and invest in the squad so we can get promoted to the premier League again. At the moment we've got a championship squad playing in the premier League and are falling short.
Well done
Spurs Arsenal and City are throw away games... STOP WASTING RESOURCES falling short on these games... You better have a fit squad for games like Everton, Bournemouth and all our other home games which are now becoming must win games. We need around 9 to 12 points more. Play the youth against Arsenal and City to protect players who aren't fully fit or exhausted.
Need at least 12-14 points.
Can’t play the youth. Not least 10-0 defeats will not help the psychology of the team - and would decimate the goal difference, which could yet be decisive.
