I can’t believe we can now play 4K at a steady 100+ frames. I never thought I’d see this kind of performance
I'll be blown away when its like 8K or something.
This aren't real benchmarks. This exact RTX 4090 runs with different power and thermals. The FPS figures also don't match other benchmarks.
This and Neo G8 240hz will be another level
Tbh, it's all a manipulation to memory hole you. The 1080Ti played games (released at the time) with high performance, similar to the 3090 here. No DLSS, no tricks. Remember, "new" games that actually push the 4090 aren't really even out yet, so actual performance will drop sooner rather than later. So let's say when those "current" games come out (because we need to do apples to apples), the 4090 will basically give you 50% (maybe less) performance increase for 2.28x the price. Not the deal Nvidia is making it out to be, although I guess a better price comparison would be the Titan Xp, which actually falls in line with the "halo product" that is the 4090, so maybe I'm undermining my entire argument, since the 90 card has basically become to prosumer option before going to high-end Quadro. Though I'd still maintain my argument when looking strictly at the 80 series cards, I don't think those numbers add up in that case, though even the launch price of the 3080 makes sense for the 2 people in existence that got it for that $$.

So, we are at times where even 4K can get 100+ fps and our potato pc cant even handle 60 fps in 1080.
I’d get the 4090 but the price in Europe is ridiculous. 4080 makes no sense, but I think I got a decent GPU to serve me for a while.

As expensive as the card is. God damn its performance is legendary. Definitely the Go-to card for amazing 4k performance (At least till AMD brings forth the 7900xt. Hoping for some good competition this year.)

To be clear, are you using the 3x8 pin power cable that came with the trio, or are you using 4x8pin cable?
Are you using a stock fan curve or a custom one for the 4090? Seems to be running quite a bit hotter.

@@Kvantys А 3090 в 3 раза быстрее что ли 3070? Нет конечно. Разница между 3090 и 3080 порядка 15%, между 3080 и 3070 порядка 20% итого между 3090 и 3070 разница примерно в 30%. Там где у 3090 65 фпс, у 3070 будет 45.

What monitor are you using?
Something is very, very wrong with this benchmark. At first I noticed that the 3090 was underperforming in Horizon: Zero Dawn, then I noticed that the "RTX 4090" was drawing only 350 watts of power instead of 450 watts. The last straw was when I noticed that Cyberpunk 2077 was using only 5-6 GB of VRAM...AT 4K! If you've played Cyberpunk at 4K or watched other channels' benchmark videos, you know that Cyberpunk at 4K uses up to 13GB of VRAM. This benchmark is fake. Watch out, people!
I'm wondering how is the power consumption of both cards if you cap them to 60fps. Because I'm thinking about after how many hours of playing a newer card would be less expensive than the 3090. And maybe you didn't need a new and bigger power supply then. Do you plan a benchmark on that, @benchmark? Or do you know such comparisons?
According to hardware unboxed if you cap the fps the power consumption is lower on the rtx 4090

ну да, тока осталось найти на неё 2700 бакинских, или 170 ка рублей, а через 2-3 года выйдет 5 серия которая уделает эту карту раз в 5, в 21 году 3080 если не ошибаюсь стоила 2600 зелёных, теперь если поискать, то новую можно за 1200 баксов её взять, а с азона ещё дешевле, суть такова что через годик полтора 4090 упадёт в цене % на 30 минимум, кст ждём карту от амд в ноябре

4090 is meant for 4k gaming... even at 1440p, having the 4090 won't be worth it.
Its easily worth it. You wont have to upgrade for many years to come. Future proof card in every way. There is always a way to get into GPU limits. Even at 1080p.

Something that really impressed me about the 4090 configuration is that it has high CPU utilization. So that brings me to one thought, and that is that anything below an i9 processor will be a total disaster with this card. Sure and 100% bottleneck for every processor below i9!
4090 makes sense in Europe now , considering the electricity prices ; with 60 FPS limit , it would use less power than 3090 , at least according to your video 🤔 , good for PSU too

I get 85 fps on average in Horizon Zero Dawn 4K max everything. Sometimes it reaches up to 90-95 in some areas and sometimes it it goes to 78-82 in other areas. This is on a 6950 XT. The readings on the 4090 for HZD seem like the ones I see in every other video, but the 3090 can definitely do many more fps on that game than shown here. I can't speak for other games, only for HZD.

Sadly, these are not real benchmarks. I will have RTX 4090 Gaming Trio tomorrow and will be able to compare as I already have RTX 3090. I saw different videos on the 4090 Gaming Trip and it would never ever run above 70c. The power figures also looks not real at all.
