Love this, and I'm glad you mentioned the ratio of pass sales to the number of spots available. That's something that's bothered me, among many other parking issues.
Six years later parking is even worse. My first class is at 10:30. If I don't get here by 8:15ish I have a hell of a time finding parking. I was once late despite getting there over an hour early. The first day of classes they thought it was a good idea to shut down one of the commuter parking garages.
The red and green lights are working now in the Jenkin garage. it's actually pretty cool, but the whole parking situation at OU is still horrible. Horrible.
It’s trash, i keep missing my class because of it. If you arrive at 10am you will not find parking. And there are hundreds of other commuters scouring the lots for a space as well.
I transferred from OCCC where half of the college is literally a giant circular parking lot and there is always plenty of spaces, AND ITS FREE. OU is a joke.

OU isn't supposed to be a commuter school. People who pay $350 a month in rent for a house east of headington hall shouldn't be complaining about having to pay $260 a year for parking. If you disagree with that then you might want to consider UCO they have plenty of free parking.
