I've just signed up for this same one and i have my first screening next week! I searched for this video to give me an idea of what the whole thing entails. Thanks for your perspective, I'm less nervous now! £4000 is a LOOOT for me as a student so I'm very excited :)))
Hi Ruby, congratz and good luck, I hope everything is okay, so that you can proceed to the quarantine 🥳🥳🥳 Yessss, £4K is a lot, even for me ahahahaha.. anyway, thanks for stopping by ☺️☺️☺️
@@voltage3692 You're supposed to take a month off between studies. Sometimes you can go back to back if they don't use the verification system (VCT). $40-50,0000 a year isn't difficult to get doing 6 a year. If you find a way to do more you could really make a good living.
@@TheRoseline1 It's hard to say. I'm 41 now. My blood pressure is slightly elevated. I've gained some weight. I have noticed I feel more fatigued than I used to. Even still I think I'm healthier than most people in my age bracket. I think most of my ailments are due to age. I also think experiencing trouble down the line after taking meds is a myth. They only stay in your system for a certain amount of time. It doesn't make sense that they would still affect you after that time period.
@@voltage3692 They say to skip a month, but you might be able to fit a couple of more in, so I'd always 6-8 if doing it full time. $45-60,000 a year can be achieved if you are getting into studies.
I’ve just signed up and waiting for a call back for one of these clinical trials and I am sooo worried about being selected to participate and be locked in a room for 2 weeks 🤣🤣😭😭 hopefully they get some good information out of me and I get a fair payment in return
I know how you feel 😄 Even me was questioning myself If I was sure to participate, but as I consider it's "only" a drug for flu, and the fact that they have tested it before my batch, then I was just f*** it, I AM GOING 😅 The only period that I hate was the quarantine period tbh. It's such a long boring moment and the food that I don't really like. So I can suggest you to bring some books, probably you can read during the quarantine. Oh, and bring enough toiletries stock, like shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste. Other than that, good luck. Oh, the payment is pretty quick btw. Hopefully we talk about the same company 😄😄😄
Wow, scarry joining medical trial. Good you got a nice reward for it 😄 interesying to hear the process. Nice as well they do a good medical check up before trying!
Thanks so much! Great insight! Did you have to do a self assessment? I'm doing another trial with another company and I may have to process a tax return :(
Hi Novie, you were very entertaining and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed you talking through your experience ☺️ I was wondering if you had to fill in a lot forms by yourself? Was it all paper work or did they have an app? PS. I'm a college student in Ireland. And I'm wondering how your data was collected and stored. Thanks!
Hi there, thank you ☺️☺️ Yes, it was quite a lot paper work that I need to sign before the trials. In the middle of quarantine, everyday (3x a day) I need to record my symptoms (they provided the forms), and after the quarantine only once a week I need to fill in online (on a website) the same form as in quarantine. I gave them permission to keep my recordd for the study purpose.
First of all, you are so brave to join this trials! Are you ok now? It is so interesting to know they injected you the meds first instead of the virus.
Hi Camile, I am good (so far). Yeah, at that period I was jobless, then I thought it's a quick money, they paid good, so I took a part ahahaha.. I think they injected the meds first as they wanted to know the effectiveness of it against flu virus. Thank you for stopping by anyway! ☺️☺️☺️
Hi Novie, Thank you for the valuable information, I saw in a comment review you mentioned something regarding 'flu or cancer' what do you mean by that? Also, do you feel any affects of trials on you now? I'm in a similar situation that you were in I'm healthy and seriously considering this trial.
Hey! Love the video, i was intrested in also participating, wanted to ask since the trial how are you? Is bloodwork and your health fine after a year of the trial? Thankss
Hey there. I'm doing good, safe and sound, thank you 🤩 The only negative thing I had was I felt disoriented after being discharged from quarantine. I was 16 days alone at hotel. Needed a bit time to adjust to normal life again 😃 Good luck for you 💫 Drink a lot of water daily, (as in my experience) they will collect your blood 2X a day 🤓
@@cristoff3 I liked it. No issues whatsoever for myself but if you don’t like having blood taken I definitely don’t recommend as they take it practically every day, multiple times a day. Food and beverage all provided and of good quality. Entertainment is good. Basically felt like I was being paid to be looked after haha
awesome. do you think you were the placebo..? seems you had very few symptoms...i'm most worried about long-lasting symptoms, blood samples don't bother me...@@haysamshakeel
Yeah, that's the question you really need to think before participating in any clinical trials. To be honest with you, I was after the money, as I was jobless for 3 months, and I thought it was "just" for flu virus, considering there are many many trials which more "dangerous" than this one, like a study about new drug to treat cancer, etc.. Well, they paid more, but I guess it's a pass for me. Flu vs cancer, if you know what I mean. Anyway, thanks for stopping by ☺️

@@funchannel3863 Flu Camp, I didn't make it though I have too many antibodies apparently. Good luck
Hey! How did the flu camp go..?
Just remember that if some people feel okay after their trial it could be because they were only given a placebo drug!
True.
Thank you for this informative video.
I've done these for 3 years. I definitely prefer it to having a regular job!
How many of these can you do a year and how much do you earn roughly?

I was doing a CT for Eli Lilly they gave me an overdose that put me in the hospital and no one cares don't do a drug trail
