Yes! Inferno Boondocking in 111 Degrees at Collins Lake LAKESIDE! RV ROAD TRIP #54

Happy 4th of July celebrating not with Fireworks but with Fire and extreme heat saturating the West in particular Northern California here at Collins Lake, in Browns Valley. 113 degrees forecasted, 112 degrees experienced by us, The Lost RVers, who can only run fans with our 2200i Honda Generator. No air no air savoir faire… 😋
A 4 day Squat along the shoreline of this Filled-to-Capacity reservoir enjoying the only escape from this INFERNO BOONDOCKING campsite, the Lake, we all became aquatic life dwellers with wrinkled toes and fingers as proof.
As hot as it was, those looking back will appreciate and cherish this RV ROAD TRIP #54, not to repeat it but simply to say, “We survived it!”
Collins Lake is a RV destination that should be marked on your travel calendar whenever you may be in and amongst the nature here in the Sierra Mountains. Full hookups or boondocking, lakeside or inland, ice cream cones or expresso, chill here on your way North to Alaska or wherever.
