Hogwarts Legacy is an action role-playing game in which players are able to attend classes at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Set in the 1890's, 100 years before the events of Harry Potter, the player character is a student starting at Hogwarts in the fifth year. You hold the key to a mysterious ancient magic that threatens the Wizarding World. Locations from the Wizarding World franchise will be explorable such as the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley, and Hogsmeade. The player character will learn to cast various magical spells, brew potions and master combat abilities.

I got the game at midnight and I played for 9 hours straight. I've had four hours of sleep. I have no regrets. This game absolutely lives up to the hype.

The thestrals appearing is such good attention to detail, and a great quick way to show why you can see them in the game.

They have a movie mode of the game where it has minimal choice and interaction. Perhaps you should try that version :)

I’ve been on the toes about purchasing this game. Felt I’ve grown out of touch with HP over the years….Now I’m 10 minutes into this video and already going to preorder!!! I can’t explain the feeling i have rn but everything i love about this franchise just gushed back into me. God. I feel like a kid again. I remember why i fell in love with this world..

I just started my game last night and i didn’t notice the thestrals weren’t there in the beginning and then appear after you see George die. The little things like that is absolutely insane

After the constant media coverage and trailers and all that I'm glad to finally see the game come out. I hope it really is as good as it's looked. I grew up watching the movies and playing the games on PS2, so it's a dream come true for something like this to come out. Looking forward to seeing my favourite youtuber play through it!

7 minutes in and I’m drooling 🤤 over the characters lip syncing and subtle head movements and gestures. It’s so fluid and realistic . There are no awkward pauses or random hand movements . (KH3 is an example of awkward)

Well that’s understandable so when it goes on sale definitely get the deluxe version. It’s definitely worth the $70 I paid for the standard but I had to pay a extra $20 for the dark arts pack which put me at $90 for the game. Avoid my mistake & get the deluxe on sale.
Watching Trevor play this is so fun compared to who I usually watch because he's actually a massive harry potter fan and knows so much!

When you walk out the forest, see the train, owl, castle and you hear the music.. i got goosebumps. Definitely going to watch your series, but always to the point where i am going to be in the game. The Gaunts are direct ancestors to Voldemort, his mother was a Gaunt. Also the DADA position wasn't cursed by Tom until the 1940's when he was rejected from the teaching position so there shouldn't be a new DADA teacher each year.
i'm crying that this part 38:20 because i am super big Harry Potter fan i grow up watching the movies and this game made me cry with happy crying, im super hyped to play this on the 10th :)

My understanding of "ancient magic" so far is that its mostly protective in nature.
A lock on the portkey container.
A lock for a private grigots entrance.
Those golem puzzle's seem lime a defence mechanism.
Also the portkey container was made of some form of goblin steel, maybe "ancient magic" is a form of goblin enchantive magic? Worked into their steel?

Been watching tmartn since 2011-2012 ish, had a hard time when I was young with family, so I just stayed in my room away from everyone for a few years, tmartn, Outlaw, couple others, an MMO game called “FreeRealms”, some black ops, and gtaIV was literally life.
