Utah Elk at Hardware Ranch

Bull and Cow Elk have it pretty good at Hardware Ranch in Utah. These are wild Elk that benefit from a state division of wildlife feeding program every winter. This is a great program that helps the Elk endure harsh winter conditions, as well as keep them in the high country away from neighborhoods and busy roads of the valleys below during the winter. Also, money raised from sleigh rides among the elk go toward conservation efforts for these awesome animals. This is a great way for people to gain an appreciation for one of my favorite animals, as well as provide resources for their conservation. Please also consider joining the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation so that generations in the future can enjoy these great animals! Hardware Ranch is located about 20 minutes east of Hyrum Utah.

Never been up to Hardware stanch but have always wanted to go. Elk are awesome. I could stare at them all day long, every day. Such cool animals and my goodness do they taste good.
