Your videos are always so professional and sleek. You're one of the few lifestyle gurus on YT that always strives to be truly helpful to your viewers! Love you Ingrid!
Ingrid! Soak your chia seeds! When you soak them they absorb an insane amount of water, instead of them absorbing all the water in you. You don't want them to do that, because it can steal liquid you need for your digestion. So just put them in a jar in the fridge overnight with a decent amount of water, and use them the next day, or just use the soaked seeds periodically since they can stay soaked in the fridge for a while. Just a health tip:)
There are different methods for cutting things...maybe that method works for her. I actually cut avocados in a way that may seem even more dangerous but I have never cut my finger. Knock on wood! :)
for the avocado pudding I do it a little differently but it still tastes AMAZING! I use 1 small avocado (to make 1 serving of pudding) + 1.5T of cacao, 2T of sugar free maple syrup, chocolate extract/oil thingy I got from iherb, and finally some frozen coconut milk (like two ice cubes worth) to give it a creamear soft serve type of texture.. ITS AMAZING and i encourage everyone to try it
Ingrid, I've been really enjoying the mix of content in your videos lately. I love the food videos. You seem so happy and healthy inside and out. Keep doing what ever it is that lit that spark.
I am obsessed with this series!! Your narration is perfect and your editing and videography is stunning! Thank you Ingrid for doing all this work for putting out these types of videos I super love them and appreciate it
Ohhhh Ingrid... u are just the epitome of how I want to be... Compassionate, wonderfully positive spirit, adventurous, completely independent & financially self-sufficient, perfect body-type & fashion sense, freakin gorgeously decorated house, doing what u love to do as a career & makin a killing at it, AND u love to cook? (And I'm sure there's more I don't know about or am forgetting lol) Ur boyfriends is seriously a lucky man! And u really inspire me in many ways, more than u know, & I'm just 1 out of millions
These recipes look so good! I can't wait to try that Salad. I absolutely LOVE shrimp and Asparagus together. I think I may substitute Coucous for the Pasta. Thanks Ingrid! ~Gloss and Sparkle
The pasta recipe looks super yummy! I’m going to try it tonight! If someone’s interested, here’s my favorite quick and healthy recipe (I’m italian…we are hardcore pasta eaters!): put one big tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil in a pan. When it gets hot, add 5-7 leaves of fresh basil and a quarter of a red onion. Let them fry for about 30 seconds, middle heat. Then add 10-12 grape tomatoes (previuosly cut in half) and let them cook for about 8-10 minutes. Squeeze them a little bit with a fork when you are halfway. Add salt and black pepper. Cook around 70gr of pasta…et voilà!
i love this series!!!!!! cuz yes.... i am the same. if i dont eat i am not happy lol. i actually get hangry! (hungry + angry) but when i do eat and its healthy then that = a happy meeeee!!!!
Yum! I really wanna try the pudding. Out sounds strange to use avocado but its probably one out those magical things that makes it better than any other ingredient!
Ingrid - You always make things look so easy. Because of you; I am on the road a healthier and happier life. I am starting to make better choices and I'm going to start making smoothies for breakfast and lunch and making a health conscious dinner for my family. I only need to lose between 20-25 lbs but I would feel better all around even beyond that to take better care of myself on a daily basis from here on out. You inspire me. You're the best! :)
Ingrid, the ridges in the nutri bullet are there to secure the cup into it. You don't have to hold it down. If you put it and and press down and then turn it until the ridges match up and let go it will stay locked in x
Just al little tip! Put the chia seeds in a glass with a little bit of water and leave dat for a few minutes, it becomes a kind of gel en then you can put the smoothie on top en you just have to mix that with a spoon, that is how they work and you get the full use out of them!
Ingrid, you have become such a wonderful and positive person. I really love your videos, I hope you make videos for like FOREVER :D much much love! ♥♥♥
love this series! i'm a big health nut so it's nice to see some new ideas for recipes. and these are really easy to tailer to your own needs if you're vegan/gluten free or whatever your dietary needs are!
That pasta salad looks delicious! Might have to try making that for my boyfriend and I for dinner one night, except I'll have to replace the shrimp with tofu since he's a vegetarian. (:
Am I the only one who just watch videos for what they are and learn a bit in the process if I can? Some people honestly read just way too much into everything, they complain about everything, or they are trying to be super know-it-all. Negativity wont really lead you anywhere, just have in fun in life and if you are not 100% satisfied with something either do something about or just let it go. Not looking for hate just my personal opinion in a lot of the comments. Great vid, Miss
Oh no, chia should be soaked before eating to get all the good stuff! Otherwise they will just go through your system like hard pieces of p.. sand. Put chia in a cup with water, it'll expand x9 times it size. Whole chia jelly is great for dieting (added after blending) to add texture, flush out toxins and makes you fuller. Blending the soaked seeds will give you the omegas and all the good stuff. :) You can also make a jelly or pudding with the plain chia jelly with added sweetener and raw cacao for example.
Flax: They have a lot of cadmium. Btw, I think Ingrid probably knows a lot about chia and health food, so not soaking them was maybe making this smoothie more "user friendly"? But you can toss them into the blender with extra water, wait, then blend.
Tip for measuring honey! (Also works for maple syrup or molasses) Spray the inside of the measuring cup with a non-stick spray. It slides right out of the measuring cup - no scraping down the cup or sticky messes! :) Can't wait to try that avocado pudding - looks scrumptious!
Cool trick to cut cherry tomatoes: Poor them into a plate, using another plate pressing ever so slighting on top of the cherry tomatoes, slide your knife in between the plates and you have sliced cherry tomatoes in seconds LOL!
OMG! All three look absolutely delish, but the dessert almost made me cry it looked so good lol!!! I'll be making those very soon, and keep these videos coming please!
SO excited for your future foods videos! I seriously just woke up today and said i wanted to start eating healthier. I can't wait to see more from you! !
Organic food is a little too expensive for my student budget (and hard to find) but I think I'll try these with whatever I can find! The shrimp pasta looks so yummy :)
***** Sadly our farmer's markets don't have much variety here :( Organic food is a bit more expensive in normal stores and definitely pricier in special organic food shops. It must be easier to get it in the US but it's not suitable for my budget here :/
I really enjoy your recipe videos! I've tried a few of your recipes and none of them have failed in taste and they're all super easy to make! Thanks for sharing!
You should make more of these videos often! It's really inspiring to have healthy recipe videos to watch. I can't wait until my vega protein powder comes in!!!
I tried making the pudding at home and my whole family LOVES it! they said it was the best desert they have ever had! and when I told them the ingredients they couldn't believe it! More videos like this!!:)
Also this series you are doing is going to be great for me, my mum recently got very sick so it has been hard for her to cook us meals so I need some ideas of healthy, easy foods to cook!
The spring salad recipe was a success, Ingrid! Please keep doing these vlogs!! I can't wait to try out your and Benjimantv's green juice recipes!! I just had a baby and I've been having a hard time losing the baby weight. Thanks so much for posting this video, it'll make it so much easier to watch and follow your recipes. Love watching you!!
I saw this cool video about how to cut grape tomatoes. You place them in between two plates (Place tomatoes one plate and put another upside down on top) and put pressure on the top plate as you slide your knife in between the two plates. You now have perfectly cut tomatoes.
Ani and Molly Engel Oh, nothing at all. It is just lately I come across all these radical vegan videos on UA-cam trying so hard to get everyone to go vegan, its pathetic. People need to let everyone live their lives in peace.
you have to be careful with chia seeds.. you need to either soak them in water first and they will expand about 5x in size. if you don't, then you should eat less than a teaspoon - yes a teaspoon - because the chia seeds will expand in your system. if you eat too many they can expand in your digestive system and cause bowel 'blockages'
Being happy is very important and I can sense your happiness! I'm with you on enjoying avocado pudding! I previously made three different desserts on my channel all in the same video. A avocado parfait, yogurt and chocolate pudding. Thanks for sharing!
HI Ingrid I just made a delicious smoothie inspired by the one you made in this video I added - spinach - 3 oranges (tiny) -1/2 of an apple -a can of pineapple -pineapple juice (just pour the whole can of pineapples in) -lemon juice -lemon and orange zest -honey( amount depends on what u prefer) -1/8 cup water - vanilla yogurt - a little sugar - ice (optional) Try this recipe and tell me what you think it made me so energized. Then add a lemon slice on the side of the cup for a little decor. Xoxo

Yes, Ingrid he is right! In the directions on all Chia bags it says you must soak them for at least 20 minutes. My mother does this.
What are your thoughts on flax seeds?
Flax: They have a lot of cadmium.
Btw, I think Ingrid probably knows a lot about chia and health food, so not soaking them was maybe making this smoothie more "user friendly"? But you can toss them into the blender with extra water, wait, then blend.
Thx mr know it all
wow people are still going at my comment for this long now? lol get over this is 8 months old Halle andAva Ali Brown

Organic food is a little too expensive for my student budget (and hard to find) but I think I'll try these with whatever I can find! The shrimp pasta looks so yummy :)
Some organic food is pretty cheap, depends on where you shop. Local farmers' markets you can buy in bulk and save a ton of money.
Organic foods are not all expensive. Some are cheap, just have to look around :)
***** Sadly our farmer's markets don't have much variety here :( Organic food is a bit more expensive in normal stores and definitely pricier in special organic food shops. It must be easier to get it in the US but it's not suitable for my budget here :/

Your hair looks lovely! Xx
Just a tip: in boiling water you should put some salt before adding pasta.
and olive oil too, and also when the pasta is done wash it with cold water to stop them from over-cooking :)
Please make these more than once a month! I absolutely love this video and your ideas.
I love it!! I will totally be making all of these! You are a girl after my own heart.
i freakin love your haircut!
you have to be careful with chia seeds.. you need to either soak them in water first and they will expand about 5x in size. if you don't, then you should eat less than a teaspoon - yes a teaspoon - because the chia seeds will expand in your system. if you eat too many they can expand in your digestive system and cause bowel 'blockages'
Ingrid, blockage=BAD
you should get ground chia seeds and use it smoothie :)
You have to eat a lot to cause blockages.
This is so false!!!
Not true, you can have up to two tablespoons daily!
perfect perfect perfect
I loved this!! YAY! Excited for your new series!
Being happy is very important and I can sense your happiness! I'm with you on enjoying avocado pudding! I previously made three different desserts on my channel all in the same video. A avocado parfait, yogurt and chocolate pudding. Thanks for sharing!
2:00 why did you put the fruit in 1 by 1??? You could've just dumped it all in at the same time.
She did that because it was frozen and if you don't break it up it wont blend as well. (:
i think these should be monthly or every other month
Aaaaaand Im watching this while eating a burger.
If you push down the nutribullet and twist it will stay blending so you dont have to hold it down! :)
HI Ingrid I just made a delicious smoothie inspired by the one you made in this video I added

- 3 oranges (tiny)
-1/2 of an apple
-a can of pineapple
-pineapple juice (just pour the whole can of pineapples in)
-lemon juice
-lemon and orange zest
-honey( amount depends on what u prefer)
-1/8 cup water
- vanilla yogurt
- a little sugar
- ice (optional)
Try this recipe and tell me what you think it made me so energized.
Then add a lemon slice on the side of the cup for a little decor. Xoxo
Does anyone have any other dressing recommends that would go well with the cold pasta salad? Thanks (:
My mum uses Jamie Olivers sauces a lot.

The Spring Pasta Salad looks delicious. I can't wait to try it. Thanks for the recipes.
