Inspired by the design the of the Yamaha FZ / MT motorcycles, the MECH-GTR offers a customizable LED turn signal that compliments Yamaha's hyper-naked sportbike design. The advanced lens optics and high-output SMD style LED provide an extremely bright signal light. The LED running is provided by our HALO Running Light Module and can be swapped for a different color module with a simple plug and play install. The MECH-GTR enclosure is manufactured from virgin ABS plastic that is color and texture matched to Yamaha motorcycles, making these plug-and-play signals look and feel like they have belonged on your Yamaha FZ / MT motorcycle from the start.
Thank you Bart. You have no idea how greatly this helped me. I couldn't follow the right hand side while sitting on the bike, left if looking at it. Then you showed me how to peel back the plastic to find the harness. I love your company's products. I have these and the integrated 3 mode taillight. My bike looks amazing now. I'm so glad that a company takes time to show people how to install their products. Thanks again.
Love what you guys are doing for these bikes. About to order these to go along with my TST integrated tail light, fender eliminator, led license plate light, and led relay. My bike is much sexier now.
Nice...thank you.
Love how different and just bad ass these are! Keep thinking out of the box because yall come up with some freaking sweet stuff!
Thank you!
Just got the email update that these are in stock and ordered right away. Excited to see them installed on my 2017 fz-07. They’ll compliment my tst integrated tail light nicely. Thanks for the clear install instructions!
You're welcome. I think you will like these signals. They set off the front end like our taillights do for the rear.
Plug and play is awesome!!!!! Just got done installing this on my 2019 MT09 and they look great. I also like the fact the wiring was shorter and I didn’t have to route them everywhere! Also installed the integrated tail light and relay. Thanks for the install video. Dealership was looking at a 3 week lead time to do this. As i found your video and did it myself.
We absolutely love to hear that!
How did you do it? I have installed them also on my 2019 mt09 but my running light does not work? Do you know how that is possible? Grtz
@@s.c4235 I would check the plugs them selves or check with where you purchased them. It might be a bad one. Mine worked perfectly when it was plugged in.
@@davidrivera390 oke i have buy them also by tst industries so, i have already contact them and orderderd some new one but i tought you may know the problem 😄 i tought i did something wrong or so
@@s.c4235 q bad part does happen but it’s a plug and play so you did everything right!
Just ordered the whole package with these front signals, the integrated tail light, tail tidy, etc. pick up my bike in two days, so I’ll be able to put these on right away! Can’t wait!
Great video Bart & tst. Your videos are very easy to understand & follow 👍👍.
I've been trying to get a hold of your guys' company now everyday for quite a while I left message and message

Really sweet and innovative compared to other brands!
Hi tst. I have bought this but my ratchet fastener is broken. Do you sell spare for it??
Hi already installed the TST mech gt-r on my 2018 MT-09 as per video. However the running light for the indicator not working. Can you advise?
You will have to contact our support department through our website. They will get additional information from you and troubleshoot the problem.
@@TSTindustries great. I will contacto them. thanks
ziq ahmad ive got the same problem 😞
When are they coming back in stock?
FYI these fit on the 2015-17 FJ09(Tracer 900). I emailed TST asking if they would fit and the guy told me no, bought them anyways just to see and sure enough they do. You have to use the rubber rings they come with and they provide enough of a seal to keep them tight on. Someone has to put their face right up to the signals to see a tiny sliver of the exposed rubber ring on the frontal cutout spot but that's it.
Got mine installed but i am an international customer my running halo light does not work. Any tips on how to wire it to the running light on the bike?
Would this kit work on a 2021 MT-07?
What do the rubber o rings that come with the kit do?
On some bike models the plastic on plastic engagement of the ratcheting ring and OE parts does not produce enough friction to prevent movement. The rubber O-rings can then be installed between the ratcheting ring and the inside of the mounting OE part to prevent that movement.
They helped secure the turn signals on my 2016 FJ09 even though TST told me the lights don't fit on my bike, haha.
Just bought these for my 2020 they look awesome
Thanks for the love and support!
I wish you guys would have added a bit more wire for these lights.. otherwise they are pretty nice and bright.
Great instructional video and an excellent mod. I have 2 questions: will the install be similar on an 2015 FJ-09? and is there a way to have the turning signals to "automatically" shut off, instead of always doing it manually?
Thanks again for the super videos!!
The signals do not automatically shut off. That would have to be a modification made to the other components in the signaling system. I do not believe that these signals will fit the FJ09 without modification. I do believe that the ones we have for the FZ6R would fit but they are a different styles than the Mech line. I included a link to them if you care to explore that option, but I haven't tried fitting them on that bike yet so I can't confidently tell you that they will in fact fit 100%.

How can I order the locking rings for the back? Mine failed
Email our Support Team. Support@tstindustries.com
Same problem here.
Same here. Think these need a redesign. They are way too fragile.
Just got my kit. What are the rubber O-rings for as they are not used in the video.
Those are for the optional use from the inside of the mounting surface. You may use them between the inner surface and our ratchet fastener in case tour signals slide around after fastening. They just increase the friction between the fastener part and the mounting surface.
My arrows are working but the daylight/drl is not. What should I do?
That is not enough information for me to be able to help you here. I would suggest you contact our customer support crew through our website. They can reference your order and collect the necessary info to help you efficiently.
@@TSTindustries I've already contacted support through the website and email, still no response. I bought everything according to the video and the daytime running lights of the front arrows of the MT 09 did not work.
@@BHzFelipe our office is open Monday through Friday 9am to 5 pm. Someone will contact you back during those times.
Well watched the video and then Bought some.. lol.. seem nice and not bad on price. Hope they work well.
Well I bought the lights and they look good.. bright and visible. Marking lights are pretty cool too..
I just bought this for my mt09 but apparently there’s no DRL. It works fine when I use my turn signals but there’s no hyper white DRL when I turn on my ignition🤨
I've got the same problem.
do you have these for the rear are there only the aro18s
Technically you can mount them on the rear but wouldn't have a plug-and-play running light function and would need to find a mounting method.
@@TSTindustries Hi Team,
I'm just in the process of buying the Mech GTR front LED, Running Light and LED Rear Pod for my MT09.
I am located in Australia so for the front LEDs i ordered the international version as it says its suitable for Aus.
The rear pod doesn't seem to have a international version can you confirm this will work?
Lastly the relay do you know if the 4 pin one is what is suitable for the Australian market? Surely you will have sold a few of these by now I do not have quick assess to my bike to check at the moment.
Thanks in advance.l
@@TSTindustries thanks for email response, purchased front and rear LEDs!
@@ApplicationPlease let us know how it goes
Do you guys have a video of this blinker with the blue glow?
I do not believe we captured all the different colors on video but on our website we have a photo that shows several colors together for comparison. You can see it here: tstindustries.com/tst-mech-gtr-front-led-turn-signals-yamaha-fz-mt.html . Just scroll through the photos on that page and you will find it
Just installed this on mine, the running lights don't work tho? Blinkers work fine... Is this a common issue?
Are you an International customer by any chance? If so, you may need to splice into a constant power source such as your headlight running light.
TSTindustries yes Australia.
Thanks, I'll have to look into it.
Also Turn signal lights are able to work without ignition turned on. Is this also common?
I really like these but my only concern is the visibility from the side. would someone be able to see the signal from the side, say at an intersection?
They emit a conical stream of light similar in size to the OE signals. Each intersection s different so I can't really answer your question. At a dead 90 degree view angle the light output is not very strong. Compare that to your OEM set to make your decision.
@@TSTindustries Thanks for the reply! Yeah I realized this after thinking about it for a while. My bike has the TST flush mounts on it currently but I think I'm going to go ahead and get the "Hyperpack Bundle" they seem brighter strait on. Thank you for offering these amazing products!
When are the MT-10 halo lights coming to market?
Tyler we need the bike in the shop to verify connector pinout and the bike seems to be a unicorn around here. Bring us your bike and the signals are yours free of charge.
Are there similar items as these available for the 2016 model MT09??
We have a full category for the earlier model 2014-2016 FZ-09 on our website.
Looking good!
Is it the same flasher relay for the front and rear or are they separate relays?
One relay corrects and controls both front and rear turn signals.
I installed these same signals on my 2019 mt-09 but i still have some movement on both sides, even after making sure the ratchet is all the way down. Is this normal?
Did you use the rubber O rings we sent?
TSTindustries i watched and followed the instructions in the installation video. I did not see them use the O rings. Where would they go installed?
Great price too, thank you!
Pretty bummed. My board went out in one of my lights. The halo now doesn’t work and it’s an eye sore.
You have warranty on your side. Contact our support people and you will be taken care of.
Just got off the phone with Nate and he told me what I need to do in order to get the replacement. You guys are pretty awesome for your above and beyond customer support.
Thanks TST
can these be installed on the rear?
Technically yes but it will require some customization of the signal light enclosures. On the MT09 the rear signal bracket cannot take the full length of the enclosure, and that would have to be trimmed down to a length that can fit in the limited depth of well provided by Yamaha in the bracket. The electrical connectors are the same so no worries there. We do not have instructional videos for that installation though.
European MT09 models not worth buying the HALO Running Light Module, we don´t have the running light wire with the front signals wires :(
You can splice the running light wire to a running light on the bike, or wire in a switched 12v circuit and retain the halo function. The signals are equipped with a NOT-gate circuit that cuts out the halo for the duration of signaling.
Good idea, that might do it, thanks!
@@TSTindustries Please! How can I do this. Im in the same. Can some one explaint better to me. Im not an experienced in electric area. I can give you my email and send a simple video
Release the integrated tail light for ninja 400
We just finished prototyping all of the components in the latest design version. If everything passes the tests next week we will start mold production and then it won't be long before we release the light for sale.
These aren’t 100% tight with the rachet style connection…..expected a bit better for a $330 kit…..
@@ridered55x84 well let’s make sure we give proper context, the signals are only $69.99, not $330. Additionally, when installed as shown, they should be extremely secure which is much more secure than the stock signals that flop around. If you feel you have a defective set or a weak ratcheting fastener, we include an extra set that you can try to use for more security. For more assistance, feel free to contact our Support Team.
