- Mr. Mamas has been highly requested by many commenters on the channel and I finally made my way to have some breakfast and lunch there. Nestled in an unassuming strip mall in the southwest side of town, Mr. Mamas is a very popular locals restaurant as you will see that the place is a packed house for breakfast and lunch. Is the food good though? I'm going to find out by trying as many dishes as I can because

Oh, those green squares are a known issue with DJI products since 2022 including both their drones and Osmo equipment as well as the SD card, I recommend contacting DJI support.
Shin I absolutely love you. I am a retired chef who was injured on my job and then was consequently diagnosed with a genetic illness that is terminal. It has unfortunately progressed and . I am now paralyzed and I am in an assisted living facility. I look for your vlogs every time I log on. You are the best of the best..no theatrics..Mark Weins drives me crazy with all those dramatic faces that don’t tell me nothing about the dish. Yeah, gotta admit, I kinda like Mark Weins reviews, at least the places and foods he tries. But he does pour on that "oh golly gee" style a bit too much. Maybe cut back the wide eyed grin about 30-40%.

I go here every time I go to vegas. The price and food quality is great, but the speed of service is phenomal! If your pressed for time this place will have you in and out quick!

VWS: Mr. MAMA'S looks like a gem 💎. Although not inexpensive by any means the portions are so big you probably could spilt alot of those meals. It is very obvious by your commentary you enjoyed yourself and thats a vig compliment to the restaurant. Also by looking at the food preparation I could tell they have a tremendous staff of cooks 🍳 in the kitchen. Another good local one in the books. See you Saturday Peace ✌️ Out !!

I guess you can't go anywhere for breakfast or lunch in Vegas anymore without spending at least $20. 😂
For sit down service breakfast, I think it does look to be averaging $20. But several casinos and spots have under $10 breakfast specials. And the Southpoint breakfast buffet is like $17 nowadays? It used to be like $9.99 only a handful of years ago though. Inflation has been insane the last few years. Thanks for watching!

I think there is good solid food here if you can navigate around all the packaged and frozen items.

Their prices seem high, need more homemade food for the prices but they certainly are bringing in the people! The house potatoes just look like cut up potatoes and deep fried. That Mr. Mamas club sandwich obviously needed a hardier/sturdier bread since it was squashed, maybe a sourdough. Thanks Shin, see you Saturday!

For such a run of the mill cafe they were busy and at capacity. Just showed the average of the mill food is worth paying for.
I think run of the mill and consistency is actually a pretty good recipe for success. I think there's only a few ways to really elevate breakfast options and often times, it could lead to more mistakes. And for a place that's serving parties from 1 to 20, I think they're doing a pretty good job. Thanks for watching!

When I was a kid, I liked my bacon crispy. I don't know why, but I now like my bacon lightly cooked where the fat is still a little white, and the texture is chewy. Perhaps it's because the fat isn't fully rendered, and I can taste a larger slice of bacon.
There's this sweet spot that I like where I like some crunch to the outer edge, I rarely find it lol. Thanks for watching!

Nice video, Shin. The menu says the corned beef hash was homemade so there's a miss by Mr. Mamas.
If it was homemade, they replicated the canned version pretty well. As mentioned though, I love that style of corned beef hash because I grew up with it. Especially if they make a perfect crust like they did. Thanks for watching!

Although I do like the canned corned beef hash, I love the hash they serve at Mon Ami Gabi and Bouchon. The corned beef looks like meat where the canned version looks more like meat paste.
Yes, I love a more rustic style corned beef hash with big chunks of corned beef and cubed potato hash. But having grown up with canned CBH, I just love the stuff lol. Thanks for watching!

We went there on one of our trips... and it was a great meal... but if ambiance matters to you... this felt like we were in a high school cafeteria. albeit, with awesome food. but just in case if it matters to you.

Was the cinnamon roll served warm? It should be served warm and with some butter. Then it would not be dry.

No they are regular price like they're supposed to be. The egg and I and eggworks are also great choices. This place get busy as hell
I think most sit down, full service breakfasts in Vegas are going to be around $20 a person. I recently did Primrose at Park MGM on the strip and it was about $40-$50 a person so nowhere close to the strip here lol. Thanks for watching!

The Chicken Fingers do look exactly like the Tyson Fully Cooked Crispy Chicken Strips from Sam's Club.
I think they're just trying to offer as much as they can to cover as many palates as possible. I remember as a kid, stuff like a fried chicken tender was nectar of the gods. wow, EXPENSIVE!! 2 eggs and toast: $12?? LMAO. they're using the SAME suppliers all these other diner-like places are. just go to black bear diner if you want to be ripped off and eat the same food for $1 less.. disappointing review of a terrible, price-gouging place that doesn't cater to locals AT ALL.
