This video will show lash cleansing, prepping, pad application, eyelash extensions mapping, lash application, checking for stickies, and removing the pads ready for the client to check out their beautiful set of eyelash extensions.
Below I have added times for each section, to you can skip forwards to that lash application technique . I have 9 years experience of applying eyelash extensions, so I now find classic lash sets relatively easy. If you are new to eyelash extensions and finding applying lashes a little tricky then do not worry. It will get easier overtime and with lots of practice you WILL soon get the hang of it.
This video was created to give you an insight into how we apply eyelash extensions. It is not here to bypass correct training. Correct structured lash training by an excellent eyelash extensions trainer is so very important.
You cannot learn lashes "correctly" from UA-cam where you only see snippets of what a lash artist does.

What are eyelash extensions?
Individually placed eyelash extensions, attached to an isolated natural lash to create extra length and fullness.
What are eyelash extensions made out of?
Synthetic Individual Eyelash Extensions are made from Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) a flexible and lightweight product with a soft sheen, which is a synthetic fibre. Many years ago, Eyelash Extensions were sadly made from real hair, usually from the mink which is a small mammal similar to the ferret. These animals were, and still are farmed for their fur and it was found that their strands of hair could be used for eyelash extensions.
Do I really need to take a lash course?
Yes!!! We are working near eyes, using strong grade adhesives and sharp tweezers. You cannot "wing" this - so take good lash extensions training.
How much is eyelash extension training?
"Good" Trainings, but reputable and experienced lash extensions trainers will vary in price. Approx $600-$1500.

What lash products should I use?
We recommend always purchasing your lash supplies from reputable lash suppliers that hold the correct lash safety regs in our unregulated industry.
How does lash glue work?
CA (cyanoacrylate) which is the key ingredient in most eyelash extensions glues and requires the perfect control of both temperature and humidity in order to cure correctly.
Failure to control your levels to perfection will render your glue useless- it is like trying to bake a cake without setting your oven to the correct temperature.

I’m excited to just keep improving each set that I do from everything I learn but you know what drives me nuts.. in all the videos everyone uses the perfect face shape client. I have a client with hooded eyes and high cheekbones and I struggle trying to put eye pads on her and getting her outer corners isolated

Out of curiosity, how long would this set take you to accomplish?
It can be anywhere for 1.15 hours to 2 depending on how many nl the client has
