Ahh I barely started lashing & take 4 hours on each eye it’s so frustrating & makes me feel annoyed with myself 😩 this definitely helped me realize little things I was doing that’s a waste of time thank you !!
Frankie was my first youtube lash teacher. Ive been lashing for 11 years but was clueless because of lack of tutorials. Frankie is the best! Ive been watching for over 7 years!
Super new to this, started a month ago. My first model took me 10 hours, im down to 5.5 its so hard not getting frustrated with myself. This helped me realize how much time I waste by pulling things out I dont like right away and brushing and pre-planning where to place my next one. So thank you!
Would u say this mannequin is a lot more helpful than the other basic ones where u just tape down a strip ? i feel im not improving with that one as its sooo much different than working on a real client. can u also provide where u got it from
I started lashing 2 months ago but my boss wants me done with 70% sets in 2 hrs that's why I found myself here.. I take 3hrs currently, I'll try out your tips!
I can not express how much this video has helped me with time as a new lash artist. I was taking sometimes 4 hours with a full classic set- two hours per individual eye! I couldn’t figure out why no one wanted to come see for lashes anymore until I came across your videos! Amazing! Thank you! ✨
I had a client that had to leave for an emergency (her husband called and said her baby was choking), I had only done her inners (mega volume) so she was running out with her eyes looking super tiny...🤦🏼♀️she did come back an hour later, but yeah, I learned the hard way its good to skip back and forth and make it look symmetrical.
Omg, how horrific for you both, im guessing her baby was ok????? Yep I too learnt that way, new client had a panic attack just as I finished one eye, she left with one eye and never came back.
how do you prevent lash extensions clumping/ sticking together? i struggle with this and end up spending more time trying to separate the lashes that are stuck together, taking my time because i'm afraid that i'm going to hurt the client. i end up spending a lot of time separating the lashes.
You could be using too much glue, but it could also help if you hold the isolation for 2-3 seconds after placing the lash giving it time to cure before touching other lashes.
Thank you so much ! I got new lash trays and I was completing sets before in 2 hours now I’m back to 3-4 . I’ll try these tips tomorrow. I have noticed talking makes me lose my isolation plus more
You’re so knowledgeable I watched 6 videos before yours and you really helped me ! I lash in three hours and I don’t map and I do chat a lot!! I know exactly what I’m doing wrong 😅
Hi Frankie, love your knowledge. Thank you for sharing! I wonder can you do a video on sitting posture, height of chair and the ideal table height for clients and yourself.
Really helpful! I start back officially lashing on 6th of October and I’m pooping my pants! 🤣 I had my old clients come running back and I’ve booked them in back to back oops! 🤣 so anything to help me speed up is a winner! Xx
I had a zoom class training with a trainer in the room but didn’t feel I had enough time before the cut off date to turn in work. In just this one tutorial I learned so much and concepts just clicked into place. Once I pass my state license test I am going to enroll in your beginner classic lash course. If no one tells you this today you rock! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank you Frankie 👏 I was actually lashing my sister last night and I noticed sooo many wasted things I was doing wasting time. I remember this video coming up and watched it now I need to change my game ❤️
Eyelash Excellence - Frankie Widdows so I took your helpful tips and I was doing a lash fill yesterday. Classic fill. My client came in for 2:30 and she left at 4:15 I had to lash bath her because she likes mascara 🤦♀️ so I mapped her lashes which before I just used my head. But one thing I noticed I’m doing that might be slowing me down is going from eye to eye I lash every single lash which I find time consuming. Should I lash all the healthy Telagon ones first and then if I have time go back and fill in the little ones?
Thats great and welcome to the world of lashing! :) Take a look at our Lash Tech Tutorials group as it is jammed packed with help & tutorials eyelashexcellence.com/lash-tech-tutorials/
Thanks so much!! I've been doubting myself as this is my first year. But on seeing this has confirmed I'm doing ok. I'm definitely going to try out that technique from midle to outer the to inner. Love watching your tips n tricks. Thank you so much ❤
I absolutely love this and all your vids but this particular vid is SO GREAT. IT MAKES SO MUCH Sense. All those seconds count! I m so glad I found this You tube channel. I m highly recommending to new lash techs and all lash techs I know.. I m just starting and Im obsessed with these great vids! THANK YOU FRANKIE 🙏🏼💟
I literally just started lashing and I take like 6 hours to do a full volume set, 5 hours for hybrids and classics I take like 4 hours so this video was very helpful for me. I usually do one eye at a time but will now do both eyes at the same time
And that is absolutely ok. When we are new we need to learn to apply the lashes correctly, then overtime you will speed up but it cannot be rushed, but you will get there - just time, practise and patient clients.
I have personally never found this. I also think that we should all wear them from day 1. Our eyes are not designed to see small lashes, so just like how a surgeon wears loups for there intricate work, we need to do the same for client safety.
I don't wear glasses everyday but I took my lashes and tweezer to the optometrist and got glasses suited for lashing only. No more headaches and eye strain from magnifying glasses. I'm vain and don't want to wear glasses in the future 😁
i started lashing a month ago. it takes me about 2 hours and i’m only getting my sets like 60% full. my job wants me to work on my speed and it’s very stressful 🥲

Girl I feel the same way
Same girl! Takes me like 5 hours to do a set and they still don’t look full

This was super informative thank you!

Hello Franky! Would you say working with a glue ring slows you down

Hello Frankie, What magnifying glass/lights do you use? I tried a 8x light but it is not strong enough.
gosh, in that case I would suggest to go to the opticians and get properly fitted for close work glasses as mags may not suffice.

Does using magnifying glasses damage eye sight after using it for 2 or more hours?
