    I had concerns that the PWM fan splitter had two different connectors, one 4 pin and one 3 pin. After much research, I found that this is done to not confuse system by sending two signals to it. I thought the fourth pin told fan what to do, but it tells system what the fan is doing and the system adjusts voltage to control what it does. Maybe everybody else already knew this but if they didn't, I hope this helped.

      @@skyhylands no worries! I don't have a spare LGA1700 board with me at the moment, but looking at the mounting hardware, I'd say it'd be a much more secure fit versus the push-pins of the stock Intel cooler, and isn't that difficult to get set up. You'll need to remove your motherboard from the case though, as you'd need to install the mounting bracket which goes on the rear of the motherboard!

    Its omw im runnin a i5 13500 on stock cooler running at 94celcius under heavy load will this be enough? And is the stock thermal paste good enough? I also got some extra higher rpm 2500+ fans laying around the ones included with this are 1800rpm max right? Will it run good in your opinion?

    • @ALKtech
      @ALKtech  Рік тому

      The ML240L V2 ARGB should tame your 13500's temps, it'll be a huge step up from the stock cooler for sure. In any case, yes, the included MasterGel thermal paste will do just fine!
      Fans wise, are the 2500 RPM fans that you have "branded" ones from like say, Cooler Master, Noctua etc?

      While I haven't tested such a combo before, I'd think it should handle a 14600KF fine for most gaming scenarios, though it may run on the toastier side of things if you're looking at sustained productivity workloads. My two cents!
