Just wanted to say I just built my first pc ever and this video along with a few of your others ones saved me when it came to cables and knowing where to plug things in. Couldn’t have done it without you
i dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot the password. I love any tricks you can offer me.
@Jerome Maxim thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I will add that the manual does NOT mention LGA1200 and it was impossible to get hold of cooler master for answers, so this video was extremely helpful.
Thank you so much for this video! I did a big PC upgrade of mobo, CPU and GPU and got this cooler to go with it and I've never used a liquid cooler like this before. This video helped me so much, especially with how to connect all the fan and RGB cables.
Omg you saved my life, i ordered this in a package and it came in an unmarked box with no instruction manual and some labels on the small bags missing.....gl hf
this installation GUIs is very useful. One tip I'll give is to put the fans in the pull configuration behind the radiator because it will be easyer to clean dust
Well this is a answer for the question I was about to ask. But grabbed the install manual for guidance not knowing how long it would have taken for a reply. If you are wondering about rgb plug orientation to the motherboard header. The arrow goes the the 12v positive end.
Mate this video is so well done, the explanations give a simple step by step method and cover every possibility so that you can't get confused by anything. Well done.
Bro when you tell us plug the cpu fan and water pump cables there’s legit 3 cables that look like that and your not showing us which ones to use smh I’m so confused there two from each fan and two from the pump itself like I’m lost you just keep saying grab a cord which there’s 3 that look like that so from the fans or the pump which cord do we grab for what!?
This is one top little Liquid cooler, I got an i5 12600k under the cooler, It is keeping temps amazingly low, i don't even go into 50 degrees Celsius, Even when I am gaming, Highly recommend this Liquid cooler and for the price it is even better....
This is install guide is on point! Thank you for taking your time and explaining all the wires and connections. That was the most overwhelming part for me. I can't wait to get home and finish up my build. I trillion thanks🎉🎉🎉 saving this to my library.
Once again perfectly explained and if someone still gets it wrong well they weren't paying attention .. I love that you had to tell someone that the motherboard and the hardware other than the cooler weren't included in the box or the cost lol.. Maybe I'm biased but I do prefer the way Intel attach their cooler over AMD. Maybe its just made for simple people like me but hey I'm cool with that lol.
I highly recommend your figure out how to plug th erbg cables into the fans first and leave the splitter haing off them before fully mounting them so you have one thing to pass through and pull the rest with it.
I have done some in-depth testing over the last month with multiple fan configurations, multiple reseats, multiple thermal pastes. If you are overclocked at 5gz this system can idle at 40c and stress out at 70c (cinebench). 4 fans need to be used, 2 on either side of the rad. PUSH-PULL. Thermal paste needs to be spread out with a spatula. USE MORE than one pea size blob. It needs to be generously spread out. I have tried with less thermal paste (one pea size blob) and it was spread out too thin. I even tried the Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 3000 PWM, Heavy Duty Cooling Fans. They only affected the temps marginally. I tried the Scythe Kaze Flex 120mm Fan, Quiet Case/CPU Cooler Fan, PWM 300-1200 RPM also. I settled with two kaze fans on the exterior of the rad pushing air into the rad, and two of the original Sickle Flow fans inside the pc pulling the air out of the radiator. Moral of the story, use 4 fans, make sure thermal paste is evenly spread out : a little more works best, rather than a little less.
A couple of flaws in your testing. A 240mm AIO for a CPU than can hit 5GHz is no where near enough surface area. Cinebench does not load the CPU enough to saturate an AIO cooler. An AIO needs at least an hour to fully max out its cooling performance and hit the thermal ceiling. I would suggest using a proper stress test. I guarantee your CPU will be closer to 100C with proper testing.
@@GearSeekers I will try Aida 64 for an hour. I fear you are correct. I did briefly try a 360, but it only lowered temps by 4c? Again these were all 5 minute stress tests with XTU and Aida.
I have the white edition and it works great. As a side note, there is an new model, it is addressable. Mine is connected thru the bigger box version controller and to my Jrainbow header on my MSI board. I can control the pump and fan lighting with masterplus.
Thank you dude I thought I had the headers plugged in correctly and was thinking why is my cpu peaking at 90? After proper installation my temps dropped to 30 idle and 60 peak!
Question: My mother board has a CPU fan 1, system fan 1, and system fan 2 connections I don't have a pump connection. where should I connect the pump power too? Thanks Tom
Argb conector from where ? Connected to motherboard jrgb pin ? Or where? You dont show that , is confuse, i want to see from where you connect the argb 4 pin .....
I have done it exactly like you did, (with the controller) the cooler it self works perfectly but the rgbs dont. When i tried to just plug it straight on the motherboard like the second way you showed the cooler rgb works but the ones on the fans dont. Is there a way you can help me?
You earned yourself a sub brother, I've just bought this cooler, how's it performing in your opinion? I certainly didn't really look at performance number because it was pretty new and I bought it for 69.99 brand new.
Can I just connect the power cable to run the pump and let without RGB? I did this process but the pump seems like without power, how I check if it’s working properly?
I first did the RGB into the motherboard and only one fan and the pump lit up then I switched it to see if it would work and now only one fan lights up. Any idea why this is happening?
I recently installed the same radiator displayed in the video and for some reason I’m not getting any display. I followed the instructions the way they were presented. Could it be cause I put a little too much thermal paste?
I added this to my cyber power prebuilt PC that came with three fans with 3 pin rgb. How can I combine with the cooler master 4 pin fans? I tried a splitter and the fans did not work.
i think my pump doesnt work. I pluged it in 3 pin on the msi z490. but when i check stats in bios, it shows 0 rpm. and temperature of cpu is 90. Please help
quick question, if my mother board (B560M DS3H V2) doesn't have a pump header how should I go about plugging it into the motherboard? Note that I do have a SYS_fan 1, 2, 3 and a CPU_FAN header.
I do have a question. After install Im not able to control the lights. It just sit on red. How do I change the lights. Additionally, I cant get the Mastercooler to show up on my MSI Center. I know the pump, fans and light are working. why wont it show up on MSI center? If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.
Hi, I want to install an aio on my MSI B360M Gaming Plus motherboard, could you please tell me where to plug in the pump? There’s nothing on my motherboard that says PUMP.
Is it also possible to mount this to the top of my pc case? And how do i have to mount the fans is i place it on the top? With the logo on the inside of the pc or outisde the pc?
Hi I’ve read through the comments and couldn’t find any answers is there any way to connect the cpu fan plug into something else as I’m using all my other fan slots I only have 2 fans in total
I have cpufan 2 instead of pump fan. would it be a problem if I plugged it into cpufan 2? BTW female is 3 pin while the male on the mb is 4 pin. does it matter which pin I leave off?

hi I have a question my motherboard doesn't have a pump system connection can I instead connect to CPU fan connector
your cpu fan connector is for your cpu fan, not the pump. Refer to your motherboard manual and you should see where the pump fan is located.

Yes

my intel brackets do not screw onto the pump top of my cooler. i have been trying for several days but they will not stay in place.
is there a software to control its color
No. If you use the RBG header on the mainboard you can control the colors with your motherboards rgb software. Such as RGB fusion for Gigabyte.
Tried to install this on my PC(Intel 1151) with no avail. Seems like the pump would not work for some reason
