HOW MUCH TESTOSTERONE AM I ON?
first 3 months on low-dose T: 1 pump per night (20.25mg of T)
after 3 months on 1 pump, i switched to 2 pumps/night (40.5mg of T)
for the past few months i’ve switched back to 1 pump/night, sometimes 1.5 pumps/night

This is the Testosterone Gel that I use. My doctor prescribed it to me. At my age, my testosterone levels supposed to be in the range of 500 to 600 but it was currently in 200 range. I have to apply 2 pumps. One pump per shoulder. I'm already in my third bottle. I have one more refill. I will be tested at the end of the month at my doctor's office again to see how my levels will be then.
Happy anniversary! My T gel instructions say not to rub it in, but that stuff is drippy! Idk how I could possibly put it on without rubbing it in haha. Ps. I hear the creek 😁

Hi, my DR. Asked me if I wanted to switch to gel instead of the shot. I was wondering what your thoughts were on the Gel vs the shot? I told her I wanted to make sure I got all the T I could but I was wondering do you think if I started the gel it would change anything in or on my body? I've taken the shot for 27 years now so I do really get that drive anymore but I kinda want it back. What do you or anyone else think in here? Also i have some health issues but I'm not worried about it.

I just applied mine for the first time today! And I rubbed it in like sunscreen… so idk if I should have done that. But I rubbed it in until it felt dry…
I'm hoping to start t soon and I am looking into gel. You video was really informative, so thank you! I have a question though: are you able to wash it off after it dries or does it have to stay on until the next dose?
You can shower a couple hours after applying the gel.
I was just wondering what if you drop some on the floor , what do you do if you don't have enough ?

Meg! I‘ve been trying to look up the price of the generic gel, can you tell me anything about that? How much does it cost / how long does it usually last with the 1 to 1.5 pumps you use at the Moment? :)
Also, I‘ll start filming my transition soon, too! I have my surgery consultation next month and have an appointment for trans affirming services with a new doctor next week. Super excited!
hi! thanks so much for reaching out. i’m not sure what the price of the generic gel is. my testosterone gel is covered by my insurance, but i still have to pay a small co-pay at the pharmacy (around $15). my one bottle lasts me about 2 months!

I use the same gel, I have insurance but it doesn’t cover it. I pay $73 out of pocket with GoodRx every 20 days because I’m on 3 pumps daily, & 60 pumps are in a bottle of this particular generic brand. Just for reference for anyone reading these comments that may not have insurance, or insurance that covers it.

How do you do half a pump? I’m very curious if that’s an option for me. Do you mark the pump somehow to show what what half would be?
A marker or rubber band halfway down on the pump would work.

Wondering if gel is a bad idea for me seeing as how I'm trying to avoid hair growth.
I think that hair growth occurs wether you're on gel or injections
Is there a residue feeling to it?
the best way i can describe it is if you were to put glue on your arm (i know, sounds weird) and then let it dry. when you run your hand over it, it feels oddly smooth, but you know something is there. it just doesn’t feel constricting/tight like glue would. also, once i put lotion on, the oddly smooth feeling is gone!

hi! thanks for your questions! you’d have to talk to your doctor about that - depending on your lab work, etc. i’ve increased and decreased my dose before, but have always put some testosterone on everyday.
