Today, we take the first step in building out Lexus SC-F - we test fit the IS-F's 2UR-GSE in our Lexus SC300, and it fits LIKE A GLOVE! But It's not as easy as it looks. It still needs everything....

@@Queso305 Vice Grip Garage... IMO the best car channel. It's about as opposite from Tavarish as you can get. He takes old American cars dead for 30 years, gets them running on the spot, then drives them hundreds of miles back to Minnesota.

I love how Toyota/lexus cars are so interchangable and moveable because it makes stuff like this possible. Toyota over engineers everything and then keeps certain componets so it works on other vehichles. I love me some Toyota/Lexus

I am positive that this will require a lot of work as you pioneer your way into the swap, especially the wiring. If you could please document all the work required for everyone in the community to follow, that would be a dream for many Lexus and Toyota owners!
The current revision of this engine puts out almost 500 crank horsepower in the LC500 which is amazing, even the older 420hp ISF would be amazing to have!

Just a thought, I think this idea would finish off ur build real nice. I'm not aware for certain regarding the after market for the SC, or what's available for the SC. But....if u could find a bumper kit that modernizes the look of the car. I know a company in Japan makes a sick kit for the 2nd gen gs. If u could find something similar , granted it's as nice I would be very eager to see the final product.. just a thought. Good luck with the rest of ur build .some sweet updated style led lights would be chill to.. 👍👍

I've got a'98 LS400... I've test driven an IS-F and the thing that really impressed me was the 8 speed gearbox... i'd so love that in my LS.... but if the IS-F engine/g/box combo fits in the SC then it will fit my car..... Interesting......
