People don’t seem to understand that Fans throw fun items like rats, hats and even inflatables during a loss because people come with the full hope and intention they’ll throw an item on the ice at the end of a game regardless of a win or loss since it’s tradition. If the panthers lose fans still throw these items because it’s one of the most fun/nostalgic parts of home games. It’s tradition to throw items on the ice when there’s a home win but fans still throw their items at a lose since they’ve been waiting all game to do that. It’s become tradition to always throw items on the ice after any game, regardless of a major win or crushing defeat.
Was at the game being a Ducks fan in Florida. Had seats behind the net where the Ducks were attacking twice. What a fun game! Rallied from 2 goal deficits twice. Was so happy to see my Ducks, they only come here once a year

Amazing how much better the Ducks look with Leo playing. He’s so good! He looked bigger to me as well. Maybe the tribute video in Tampa reminded Kilhorn he CAN play … never seen him move that fast. Glad we got the win

Gudas at +12 on this team should make him the first all star replacement. I will go back to preseason and I thought he looked amazingly in sync with Zellweger. I did not know he is just the perfect partner with ANY defenseman.

I have to turn the sound off when I watch the Ducks because Heyward is so bad he is awful he's always complaining about the referees always and he makes excuses for the Ducks and they jinx them terrible horrible announcers
He has been more sassy lately. They aren't the best, but definitely better than some others.

Got to see this game live and wasn’t disappointed! Great comeback down 4-2, Rico looked great, Frank took care of the Rat King, Terry had a filthy goal, Killorn loves playing against Florida evidently, and Silfy was heard from!! Also, fantastic game from Gibby! Only complaint is PK looks awful

3 on 3 OT and killon was our faceoff guy? Wow eakins would never do this. He would put henrique there and worry about how to sub him immediately after the fact off. That was a bold strategy to say the least. But Greg's plan worked, so yay!
Yep, it was an interesting lineup with Killer, Frankie & Fowler. I was kinda worried, but it worked like a charm, haha.

what is verbeek plan on defense? i know the ducks prospect pool on defense is deep, but you still need drysdale types to carry play.
Drysdale was expendable, Mintyukov is already a more impactful player in every facet of the game and Zellweger has greater offensive upside and better instincts than Jamie
Minty is the new better Drysdale. Just unfortunate, he had to get hurt right after the trade. Hopefully, Zelly gets a chance this season

People don’t get this simple fact, Florida fans throw items on the ice like rats, flamingos, and other fun things during a win orrr loss at home no matter who wins. Regardless of who wins the game if it’s a home game, people will throw the fun things they had on them like rats, hats, and even inflatable items. People are waiting all game to throw their rats and inflatables/teddy bears so no matter who wins people are throwing their items anyway. People don’t understand that and whenever the cats lose and things are thrown it’s not a sign of anger. 😂😂
Traditionally it’s thrown at a win but people come to the games with the hope and full intention they’ll get to throw their rats, hats and such on the ice after so if they lose people still want to do one of the most fun parts of the game which is when the rats and such fly.
The cats really started the tradition of throwing things on ice after the game/after a goal. If one single person threw a cup that’s not the entire fan base and we’ve seen it before in countless other cities. The vast majority are throwing fun items regardless win or loss since it’s the most fun part
That's true, except for the fact it was a water bottle throw and hit Fowler. So I get that they do that, and I know it's not the entire fan base.
